Atmosphere 2024/25

Ss1 maybe wasn’t as loud, but I thought the entire ground was much louder. Ss3 in particular was the loudest I’ve heard all season from the Colin bell stand, particularly the Rodri chant. The noise when Rodri came on and KDB left the field was also incredible.

From my seat, the Wolves game was more about ss1, this game was the entire ground.

I sit smack bang in the middle of block 115 (SSL1). Last night was the first time I can remember CLEARLY hearing SSL3.

You can often hear noise coming from there, but you can't tell what they're singing (so hard to join in). Last night it was so loud. When both SSL3 and SSL1 linked up it was deafening!

Great work everyone in SSL3.

SSL2 hater ? ;-)

We used to be number 1 for passion and loyalty. For me last night proved we are still number 2 for true deep proper loyalty, the desire for giving Kev a proper send off, the appreciation for Raheem when he came on the big screen, and last night the loyalty brought out the passion, and the passion created the atmosphere. Top notch

I take your points.

Either way, I hope these past few games have been a sign of what we can expect next season

I thought it was gonna be a disaster, like the Aguero and Zaba ones, where many fecked off as they waited too long and gave people no info.

Keeping the players on the pitch and the bus info a massive step forward and meant only 1 or 2k left.

Still think they could get started a *little* quicker though. How does it take 12 mins to bring a mosaic out and press a button to start the lights??
I'm not sure which games you were at. The stadium was full post-match for Zaba's send off

As for Aguero, well only 10,000 were allowed in the stadium in the first place due to Covid restrictions and I don't recall many, if any, fucking off

We were far more vocal than normal in our match against Bournemouth. Fans were clearly audible cheering KDB and Rodri.

Top night at City and a proper send off for the King.

SS3 was rocking 2nd half & the whole ground joined in, the noise spreads easier when it starts there compared to SS1

City’s got a huge chance with the new stand being one tier. Fans to pressure the club so they don’t mess it up

I was at both. A lot left for Sergio around me in socially distanced SS2.

Maybe I'm getting Zaba/Yaya mixed up though?

Out of the recent send offs, Zaba's I enjoyed the most. Was emotional but also captured Zaba's warm and funny nature.

Always seemed a shame David never had a send off and Kun's being virtually behind closed doors.

Yeah it's a real shame they didn't get their opportunities, but I'm sure they know how much they are loved. Was good to see Aguero calling himself a legend on the video last night, he's such a character!

Fuck me we've had some players haven't we.

It was excellent last night. Obviously the emotion of Kev leaving, the excitement of seeing Rodri, but also atmospheres have picked up since the protest at Leicester. I have to say the style of football helped too - end-to-end, counter-attacking, a couple of screamers in a match full of incident...feel sorry for those who didn't bother because there was no trophy or left before the send off, last night deserves to go down in City lore!

SS3 bouncing last night with "Show me the way to Istanbul, Rodri scoring in the Champions League Final" on repeat for what seemed around 10 minutes with the majority joining in and creating a great atmosphere.

I think Bournemouth's open style of football also helped, rather than the usual teams trying to park the bus.

There were 2 or 3 lads at the front of either 215/216 going for it last night. I was looking at them to get the timing right with SSL3. They did a brilliant service!
There was a big lad who was pissed who was stood at the front of 316/315 aisle near the tunnel who was doing his best to get songs going too.
