And yes; I did want them to beat Newcastle a couple of weeks ago. That was different. A utd win would have been useful to us. There's not even a parallel universe where a rag win tonight is preferable.

Some big implications for whoever loses. No Euro football. Finished in positions as low as you can without getting relegated. Hard to attract players.

Hope Spurs win it. Too many rags around right now who have completely forgotten their shit league position and are too confident this is in the bag. To see them miserable and that realisation of their league finish hit them smack in the face is a really nice prospect.

I keep on hearing this but everyone seems to forget that they won the europa league in 2017-18 and yet here they are, if anything it could be transformative in the opposite direction, more games against tougher opposition with basically the same squad bar 2 or 3 new players (if they can shift the deadwood), a massive uptick in wages and the same manager who hasnt shown that he hasnt any clue in the pl bar sticking slabhead upfront and lumping it, even if they do make the cl, there are 5 other teams who finished much higher, have significantly more money are better structured and have better managers who will be vying for the same players.
