Premier League 16th v 17th place playoff Final | Wed 21st May '25

It's the year of the trophyless underdogs, spurs win tonight. Well not trophyless under dogs but teams that haven't won one in a while you know what I mean.

Sadly can’t see past a United win. They’re still absolutely shit, but Spurs are, well, Spurs. Hard to see them creating much without Kulusevski or Maddison.

Agreed. Kulusevski is a massive loss. I think Bergvall is out too. They haven't won a game without those 3 this season.

Only way they stay in it is with a Sarr-Bissouma midfield, have to outrun and outwork United, which shouldn't be hard.

Agree!

Spurs could be 2 up 5 mins to go then concede then they'll shit there pants lose 3:2

As much as i despise the idea, i dont know why people are suggesting they shouldnt get a CL spot because they're incredibly shit. Its not like its a rule invent for them. Fa cup winners get European football and some of them have been in the championship before.

United will win comfortably imo, spurs are quite literally the only premier league team worse than them.
