Don't like this. We've got a game to win, lads.

At least the majority of the lads were gone by midnight-ish by the sounds of things.

They always do.
Its a pity because there are more important matches.
Really they should be showing all 10 matches
this season is a little unusual in that the only nthings to be decide are the CL qualification places.
They need a way more razzmatazz on the final day. I love the emotion on the final day, teams going down others hanging on etc.
Arsenal and Liverpool matches are irrelevant, nothing happening there.
Was our final match at Brentford shown two years ago?

Will any pubs in city centre have this on tv on Sunday with it not being a Sky game ??

Sorry to be an old boring bastard but why are they out drinking before an important game.

I swear to god if we somehow fuck this up

I’m not sure I’d describe it as “out drinking”. Yes they will probably have had a few drinks but it was at a restaurant with their wives/girlfriends and in the presence of the manager. I doubt it was a massive booze up.

Would they have had anything other than light training yesterday? I’d assume they’d have had a warm down session on Wednesday but perhaps a day off yesterday or just a light session in the afternoon . Plenty of time to catch up on sleep. They don’t need to be flogged at this time in the season

Will KdB play? After Zabaleta had his send off Pep left him out of the squad for the final match. Pep said he wasn’t sure he’d be mentally ready after the emotions of the send off

Dunno mate, but I reckon if they are, they certainly won’t be advertising it. The days of pubs getting the old overseas streams going from a laptop to the big screen at 3pm Saturday (or any other time) are long gone in my experience - but good luck if you do find somewhere.

Oh no, a farewell event 5 days before a game where everyone was probably tee total

I suppose that City will be taking it easy since Tuesday and possibly training on Friday and Saturday? We need to be competitive because there is still a lot at stake.

Tuesday and Wednesday has restored many City souls and we need to keep the feel good factor going.

No doubt there will be some worried souls about on Sunday but here is a plan to ensure that we will qualify for the C/L next season. Get a betting treble on, not on the beloved blues but instead on Newcastle, Chelsea and Villa. As long as we get at least a point at Fulham it won't matter a jot what each one of these does, we will be through. But if each wins there games and we don't then we are out of it. A bit of interference from us would be needed and to this effect I would suggest a win treble on these three teams on the basis that betting is a mugs game. I have thus placed a smallish bet on these three contestants, only needing one of them to fail and my bet will go down but the benefit to more than compensate is that we will have qualified

Surely, if you are going to do that, you may as well throw Fulham in that bet at 4/1 so the overall odds of us not qualifying are around 24/1.

I personally think we have enough for the CL already, but would be nice to finish with a win. Fulham won't put up much of a fight and the players will be desperate to sign off on a high. After a difficult season, 3rd would be a decent finish and ignoring the cup final our league form would be pretty good over the past couple of months.

Something to build on going into the CWC and new campaign.
