In Delap’s case, it’d be a season ending injury for Haaland.

I don't think we will bring anyone back ever, no matter how good they play. We did with Angelina years ago and that didn't work out. It's like loans, you go out on loan, other than if a young player and are loaned back as a favour immediately, you aren't going to get a chance.I wonder what needs to happen so we activate one of these buy back clauses because currently it feels like they need to have Palmer-esque season for us to do but for him we didnt put the clause in of course.

True! lol I think Pep has had enough of the same guys being sick notes and wants to be able to rotate more. From what i was told though, he doesnt want project signings but ready made to go now.

He should suit United in that case given their current ambitions....He’s a decent back up but he’s no more than a mid table player let’s be honest.

We can love the guy's form but he doesn't get 3 defenders on him like Erling does. And he'd get that at City if he were our striker.
But Pep refuses to play more than 1 striker..
Only way Delap would work for us is in some sort of Mancini system with 2 or 3 strikers up front.

Probably but I think he can surpass the likes of Solanke, maybe Watkins who are at sizeable clubs and competing in European competitions.He’s a decent back up but he’s no more than a mid table player let’s be honest.
I know saying a Spurs player is not backing me up but I do think Delap could be a very good old school prem striker and play for a top 6/8 side.
15 goals a season, a menace, brings people into play.
Not good enough for us though.

Viana looks long term as well though mate so there is some tension currently it seems. May take Khaldoon to get involved imo.
