He wore the number 6 (Ake) at AZ but that number is forever associated with Baresi at Milan so there he chose number 14 in deference to Cruyff (Gonzalez) and wears that for the national team, too. I doubt anyone would be so bold this summer as to take 17, so I wonder what number he'll take, should he sign.

Probably 8.

I reckon Kov is off based on that Rodri is going nowhere, Nico signed in Jan, O’Reilly is the future, Gundo has another year and will move into coaching, Lewis covers multiple positions and MGW in.

I’m guessing McAtee, Nunes & Kov off, they recoup some money as well. Still unsure on Bernie.

I want Bernie and Gundo to stay we need experience for this rebuild. Players coming in need to know the demands.

Nunes and Kova are better than Gundo and Beenie. Keep the 2 latter over the 2 legends.

We have Dias, Rodri, Gvardiol, Foden, Haaland and Kova for experience.

Carrying players for their experience is bad management.

They can all still do a job but I do agree and Viana coming in certainly helps as he’ll look past sentiment.

This year has been crazy, players have been run ragged and we still have the CWC. I accept Gundo is at the end of his career but I just can’t see why anyone would want Bernie gone. Give him a rest and he’ll be fine.

It will happen.
Yeah I think Cambiaso is done. Probably why if he’s had a niggle he’s being rested more.

I’d rather Kerkez but Cambiaso is a good fit.

Just hope the injuries don’t continue.

Injuries happen, look at the shape Gundo turned up in.

Just looked at his injury history, this season lots of little things nothing major though. Only missed 5 league games.

He had a massive sulk after Juve blocked his move to City in January. Allegedly he was seriously pissed off.
That will be his unknown injury and do you blame him! Definitely done behind the scenes for the summer.

Hence why we never started shopping around for another full back when it didn’t happen.

The offer arrived at
@acmilan
for #Reijnders it is 65 million. #Milan has asked for 85. The negotiation is ongoing and could even close on 70-75 million. We recall that Milan has a principle of agreement with the agents of #Ricci of #Torino

This seems a better bet than MGW. A resonable fee the only slight issue is age but again it is not an immediate concern.

Rodri will have to be nursed through next season, even if he is chomping at the bit, and new midfielders may take time to settle, so I envisage Kovacic remaining.
He has just posted the most League minutes he's played anywhere in a decade, and he now has Guardiola's trust and respect. Financially, it might make sense to sell him now, of course, but the money brought in wouldn't balance the loss in ability, knowledge, and experience.
