More from the Caff:-

"By Autumn 2025, If INEOS do not come with an offer to buy the rest of the share, the Glazers retain the right to sell shares to whoever they like without INEOS approval. The club could be devided between multiple owners by 2030, having multiple owners could take this club to new lows."

Nice
If that's true the Glazers have played SJ all the way to the bank . High profile " takeover " that never was. SJ is no more than a short term mark , used to keep club afloat for a couple of seasons , take all the flack for the footballing disaster , then bye bye sucker

£100m, the media exposure, extra match day revenue, sponsorships, more crowing.

Trust me, them not getting CL football next season was crucial to their finances. Now they are royally fucked.
I wonder if the Glazier family will continue to expect their annual cash bonanza and contribute to the overall losses.

Cash cow money seems to be a law onto itself until there is zero left.
Perhaps they can borrow some more to get their share, after all Sir Jim is in charge now so it's not their fault.

Let hope they're prepping the food off site .

Btw . At the end of this click bait article there's this questionnaire ....

How likely are you to buy a new gadget in the next 6 months?
Very likely
Possibly
Not planning to
Just upgraded recently

Is that directed at United ? Which answer do you think they'll choose ? There are no wrong answers except the last ...

Whats hilarious is they dont see the pattern, first it was the glazers fault que the norwich scarves, zebra pants brigade, rat boy on sky constantly sniping so the glazers bowed to pressure and did what they were asked they sold a portion to scruffy jim who has come in and made things even worse, now they want him out cos its not fair, the pattern is trending downwards not up, the next guy could be even worse.

I’m quite happy being male always have been.
This post makes me wonder what it would be like to be female just so I could get moist!

Serious question, are the Glazers selling debt?

Let's say that if someone wanted to buy the rags lock stock and barrel would they begin operations with a mountain of debt?
Generally in big corporate takeovers the assumption is all the debt gets repaid or replaced as part of the deal. Corporate bank debt has a change of control clause so it can get called in if there are new owners. If they have issued bonds then that is different and bonds just stay out there, rags haven't issued bonds AFAIK.

I don't know what the rags debt is off the top of my head but if its 1bn then whoever buys would probably pay that off or arrange their own finance. It's a drag on the sale as you obviously deduct that figure from what you are prepared to pay.
