Bellingham, Guimaeres, Paqueta, Declan Rice, Zubimendi, Frimpong, now Wirtz, and that’s just in the last couple years, I’ve just come to terms with the fact that anytime the fanbase gets excited for a player, that the club also really wants, we ain’t gonna get them. Anytime we in a bidding war, we give up. Let’s be real, the owners have given up trying to remain great since we won the UCL, now we just buy players that Aston Villa are looking at too. If Chelsea, Madrid, Liverpool or Arsenal get involved, we stand down immediately. It is what it is.

I agree with your comments, but the one thing I don’t like is all this ‘entitled’ nonsense. The comments I see on here go like you are ‘entitled’ just what we used to say the rags are. However, you could argue that being ‘entitled’ and saying look what we’ve won, could also be living in the past, as we often say the rags are. Works both ways. However, don’t get me wrong I agree with your comments, especially as you left out the ‘entitled’ bit. We haven’t even seen what our hand is yet in the transfer market. We know the club will react to this season and sort it. You don’t invest all that money in a hotel and new stand not to.

Other than people on Twitter or so called ITK on here, where is it concrete we were in for any of those players?

Very busy, got legs and can play.

Wirtz obviously quality .... Looks a little light weight for the premier league if I'm being picky .

Yeah, that's actually a good point. Wirtz does look very slight. I suppose Juninho did just fine back in the 90s though and he was tiny, but it's definitely a consideration.

What like Haaland? The biggest signing on the planet at that time, who every top player wanted? A seminal moment for the premier league, linekar described it as, something no PL club had ever done before. So other than that you mean?

The absolute shit being spouted on here from so called fans as a fucking disgrace and is showing people up to have become everything we claim to hate.

Haaland was slightly different surely though as he`s a City fan? There is a point that we struggle to complete a big name signing?
