I know. It's just ruined the spontaneity. I can't remember ever being devastated by an incorrect decision back in the 90s or 00s. Just got on with it. Kind of liked it. Added to the spice.

Only if they’re in an offside position. Otherwise you could have a player stood in front of the keeper the entire game while players just takes shots.

Oh I agree, I just don't think VAR is eliminating all of the errors and in some circumstances is actually causing more errors. Losing emotion, causing injuries, changing definitions of mistakes to 'clear and obvious'.

Don't know what the answer is, maybe a challenge system i.e. cricket or tennis.

Think it was the right decision.

Sheffield United lad was offside and in the keeper's way. Can't really let that stand.

Prefer Sunderland here. Bigger ground, not been for a while but won't complain at sheffield united. League needs more teams not based in London or the south.

Bring back the days when we had the likes of wigan/bolton/blackburn/blackpool/Stoke/burnley/Boro/Sunderland as well as the northern mainstays and half the league was from here.
