Someone (sorry forget who) suggested this and I thought it would be interesting. I'll update the stats for the prior match once we get close to the next match.

Still working on the best way to do this, but updated through AVL game.

The Red bar- How many points the player has received based on on 3 points for 1st, 2 for 2nd, and 1 for 3rd.

The Blue bar - How many times a player has made the top 3.

There have been a lot of recent games where there is only 1 or 2 votes between 3 and 4th place...and in one instance, 3 players split the vote for third place (which was all less than 1%).

Once the season is over, I may try and split this between regular season and competition games, as I think that would be interesting.

If anyone has formatting suggestions, please share. I was not terribly successful making this easily viewable.
From a personal point of view, I'd have the latest fixture at the bottom plus I'd have the date in a DD/MM/YYYY format if only for presentation purposes.
Overall though it's a great idea and I particularly like the second and third MOTM that you've included as some players may seldom get a MOTM but are always up there (Gareth Barry springs to mind).

Maybe you can give points.. say 6 for first, 3 for second and 1 for third so that they can be added up at the end of the season to see it agrees with the chosen POTS.

Would it be easier just to have the players name how many they have won & the teams in bracket & then a similar one for runners up underneath

I.e.

Haaland 2

Would agree with this. Would also be good to have some sort of points ranking and an overall table just to see who is getting nominated/winning the most. 5pts for MOTM, 3pts for 2nd, 1pt for 3rd or something like that. An interesting context to individual performances rather than just goals and assists!

I also thought it might be interesting to overlay the goal scorers. Perhaps highlight them. Interesting to see how that plays into things. I will work on it this weekend.

I like your idea of the total and thought about doing something like that.

Yeah you could add the goal scorers but that information is easily accessible elsewhere - try not to make it so burdensome that it ends up becoming a chore to complete.

The chart below is based on 3 points for 1st, 2 for 2nd, and 1 for 3rd.

What's going on with Phil and Bernie? Are they under-performing, or are we under-appreciating?

Check out race charts in flourish that would be a great way to show you players accruing point
over a season

If you can post a spreadsheet of which players scored points for each of the matches and the associated dates then i could pull this together pretty quickly and publish a link
