FPL - Fantasy Premier League - 2024/25

Barring an implausible 80-odd point haul in the final week to eclipse my score of 2 years ago I'll have my second highest points haul ever in the game. Surprised when I checked that as it doesn't feel like I've ever been in contention in any of my mini leagues this season.
There wasn't a 3 week AssMan chip in years past to (hopefully) take advantage of too for additional points.

If they decide to keep it, it needs to be only 1 GW.

Anyone heard any updates on whether Isak trained today?
He's down as a 75% chance of playing. Given that it's the last game of the season, and the prize that's on offer, I'd be surprised if he's not playing. Apparently, Howe has said that the next couple of days (presumably speaking yesterday?) were "crucial" in deciding if Isak will be available. Howe said, "He's doing OK. He hasn't trained with us yet but he's made good progress through the week. There's a chance."

Hope so, as he's in my team. Unless I do a last minute transfer, and bring in Watkins, or Wissa, or Cunha. I'll sleep on it, but will probably stick with Isak.

Yeah I heard Howe yesterday Jim I was just trying to find out if he’d trained today cos if he’s not trained today he won’t play tomorrow. I assume he probably did and he will be risked tomorrow as it’s such a key game

Have taken a gamble on Isak not being fit; have replaced him with Wood.
I'm still waiting for info as we still have an hour to possibly know for sure. For the 700K that took him out already, I'm not sure what the hurry was given this is the last week and the odds of pricing mattering that much is pretty small at this point.

I can promise you this, if I take Isak out, it won't be for Wood given the Chelsea fixture. That game looks low on goals to me. Good luck, and I probably just jinxed it, but I want NFO to win it or draw as it is (in case City needs that).

My reason for picking Wood is that they've got to go for the win today. And that Chelsea defence doesn't inspire confidence. I could have gone for Watkins (same reason), I suppose. Or Wissa, or Beto, or Cunha.

Nearly 860k now.

I've kept him, Done Kev to Bowen with the rumour he's on the bench.
I think that's more than a rumour, but yeah. We're boring, aren't we (present company raising my hand)?

If I had removed Isak, it would have been for Welbeck, and only noting that only for future pain.

He burned me FH34, so watch this be the opposite when I don't have him vs. a drunk Spurs.

I was going to get Evanilson.

The De Bruyne replacement had me scratching my head. Semenyo and Kluivert haven't done much recently, Saka hasn't got a return since the injury either.
