There was more than a 50/50 chance he’d score to be fair and that would’ve been 2-1 which would’ve given Bournemouth something to chase. Given the way we’ve capitulated a number of times this season in that situation it probably worked out for us. Their sending off obviously made a huge difference.
Slightly more nervous than usual about this afternoon. Not sure if it’s the game or that there’s no way to watch it live without a dodgy box which I don’t have.

You have to be nervous as the team has underperformed all season and just remember the last away match. Mind you the same result as at Southampton would do for us.

0-0 with 5 minutes + stoppage time remaining doesn’t sound like a ‘fun’ afternoon!!

the problem with Savinho is he is a bottler. I would also look to loan him out next season.

When Henderson was walking, over and over, as if in a slow motion film, when Palace players were going down as if hit by a sniper, I found myself thinking it. This isn't sour grapes (and it's the wrong thread for it), but fuck me, there was only one team trying to make some sort of spectacle of it — albeit making a dog's dinner of it — and it was not Crystal Palace.
I was at Wembley in ’81. Terrible disappointment of course. But a good game of football, undeniably so. Both sides going at it.
Just hope to God it isn't like that today. If we balls it up and lose, so be it. If Fulham have come at us, and outplayed us — so be it. I mean it.

I'll be honest, if Fulham want to spend 90 minutes sat in their own half today, I'll take it. Austria Vs Germany game will do for me as long as Villa don't put 16 past the rags (which is possible)

I don't honestly think that Fulham will do that, to be fair. They're not that kind of team. And in any case, there's nothing riding on it for them (other than pissing on our chips, which might in itself be motivation…)

I think they'll come out and try and win, which might be good for us but I'd rather they were on a beach. A point is all we need, there's no benefit to getting 3 other than I might be able to breathe for the last few minutes if we're leading
