There was more than a 50/50 chance he’d score to be fair and that would’ve been 2-1 which would’ve given Bournemouth something to chase. Given the way we’ve capitulated a number of times this season in that situation it probably worked out for us. Their sending off obviously made a huge difference. The alternative was to not bother fouling him for a certain red card. Suppose in his defence it was a split second decision though
How could we appeal that? It was a clear red card offence.Did we appeal or even register a complaint?
Massive miss - and could well be the difference between Wednesday and Thursday nights.
Or we could all have our own opinions too?Alternatively we could back the opinion of a manager who has given us unbelievable success for ten years.
3 yards inside our half with 2 quick defenders running back. OK.We’re not the gooners. Red card all day long
You have to be nervous as the team has underperformed all season and just remember the last away match. Mind you the same result as at Southampton would do for us.There was more than a 50/50 chance he’d score to be fair and that would’ve been 2-1 which would’ve given Bournemouth something to chase. Slightly more nervous than usual about this afternoon. Not sure if it’s the game or that there’s no way to watch it live without a dodgy box which I don’t have.
0-0 with 5 minutes + stoppage time remaining doesn’t sound like a ‘fun’ afternoon!!You have to be nervous as the team has underperformed all season and just remember the last away match. Mind you the same result as at Southampton would do for us.
EDIT ..Or we could all have our own opinions too?
What is this " 2 quick defenders" you speak of.3 yards inside our half with 2 quick defenders running back. OK.
the problem with Savinho is he is a bottler. I would also look to loan him out next season.A little harsh on Savinho. First season in the PL and with Pep. Even the greatest have struggled under these conditions. There's a player in there. He was leading us in assists until recently I believe. I'm confident he'll come good.
I hope it's neither of themSav or Doku in for Kev then I reckon.
Calm down.Did I say otherwise, wind it in.
I'll be honest, if Fulham want to spend 90 minutes sat in their own half today, I'll take it. Austria Vs Germany game will do for me as long as Villa don't put 16 past the rags (which is possible)I've found myself thinking that recently. Just thinking, “What if?” I paid about £100 each way for the Eurostar return trip to Wembley. £110 for my seat (and thank God I get a concession!). Stayed out at Oxford with a friend for a few days. About £46 day return on the Saturday, plus about the same for the trip out to Oxford on the Friday, and return to St Pancras on the Monday. Then we're looking at feeding yourself and getting the odd pint in. It's frightening, really.
When Henderson was walking, over and over, as if in a slow motion film, when Palace players were going down as if hit by a sniper, I found myself thinking it. This isn't sour grapes (and it's the wrong thread for it), but fuck me, there was only one team trying to make some sort of spectacle of it — albeit making a dog's dinner of it — and it was not Crystal Palace.
I was at Wembley in ’81. Terrible disappointment of course. But a good game of football, undeniably so. Both sides going at it.
Just hope to God it isn't like that today. If we balls it up and lose, so be it. If Fulham have come at us, and outplayed us — so be it. I mean it.

He was the last man. Shit rule but he was. Doesn’t matter how quick the defenders are3 yards inside our half with 2 quick defenders running back. OK.
NoSorry if this has already been asked, but is our match on anywhere?
none of the above.
I think they'll come out and try and win, which might be good for us but I'd rather they were on a beach. A point is all we need, there's no benefit to getting 3 other than I might be able to breathe for the last few minutes if we're leadingI don't honestly think that Fulham will do that, to be fair. They're not that kind of team. And in any case, there's nothing riding on it for them (other than pissing on our chips, which might in itself be motivation…)
GonzalezI hope it's neither of them
