I'd have Savinho nowhere near today. Nothing he has done these last 3 or 4 months warrants a place in the squad, let alone the team! I'd put him out on loan next season and give him a proper bollicking that it's his last chance saloon. Really not impressed at all. Foden too, but at least Fodens built up some credit in the bank with the last 5 or so seasons. But I'd still leave him out today, hopefully he sorts himself out for next year. As for Gundo? Pep loves him so I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him start. He has played some half decent games this last month, so him starting wouldn't be a surprise. 4-1 City :)
A little harsh on Savinho. First season in the PL and with Pep. Even the greatest have struggled under these conditions. There's a player in there. He was leading us in assists until recently I believe. I'm confident he'll come good.

For once I can’t wait for the end of a season.
This season has been truly awful, we just haven’t ever looked like a pep guardiola City team
Just get the point/points required and let’s start the rebuild
Amazing we could still finish 3rd and possible to be even on points with Arsenal. Doesn't seem possible but they have the opportunity before them.

Can you imagine paying 70quid plus to watch two teams lined up on the edge of their box. Neither team wanting ball that's in the centre circle.

One day City should do this against a park the bus team.

These park the bus teams are ripping fans of by refusing to play football
Three cups won this week by parking the bus , spurs ,palace and Aberdeen. Happy for Spurs and Aberdeen but a triumph for anti football, Dyche ball is bloody hard watch.
I'm such on old school bitter bertie want Villa to win at OT whatever the cost to us.

De Bruyne on the bench.

So I would guess:
----Gonzalez---Gundo
Sav-------Bernardo----Marmoush
-----------Haaland

Or:
-----Bernardo---Gundo
Sav-------Marmoush----Doku
-----------Haaland

I wonder if the City faithful at Fulham today will give a rousing rendition of "There's only one Jack Grealish" soon after kick-off?
Maybe, and I can live in hope.

The Boys in Blue never give in. They fight to the end. Come on City, come on City. Show ‘em lads, show ‘em all. Especially the Cottagers who have buses to park.

Especially the know nowt, stupid, nonsensical types who call themselves the media. Media buffoons who wouldn’t know a football from a cricket ball. Silly billies.

Especially the Specsavers needing officials. Official nincompoops who haven’t read the rules since Noah was a lad. Even then they didn’t understand them because they are so narrow minded and illiterate. Don’t they know who we are yet?
We are: MANCHESTER CITY THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD. So put that in your little pipes and smoke it!

IN PEP I TRUST. IN THIS TEAM I TRUST.

I've found myself thinking that recently. Just thinking, “What if?” I paid about £100 each way for the Eurostar return trip to Wembley. £110 for my seat (and thank God I get a concession!). Stayed out at Oxford with a friend for a few days. About £46 day return on the Saturday, plus about the same for the trip out to Oxford on the Friday, and return to St Pancras on the Monday. Then we're looking at feeding yourself and getting the odd pint in. It's frightening, really.
When Henderson was walking, over and over, as if in a slow motion film, when Palace players were going down as if hit by a sniper, I found myself thinking it. This isn't sour grapes (and it's the wrong thread for it), but fuck me, there was only one team trying to make some sort of spectacle of it — albeit making a dog's dinner of it — and it was not Crystal Palace.
I was at Wembley in ’81. Terrible disappointment of course. But a good game of football, undeniably so. Both sides going at it.
Just hope to God it isn't like that (i.e. the Palace match) today. If we balls it up and lose, so be it. If Fulham have come at us, and outplayed us — so be it. I mean it.
