It's Quiet the £250m return

This all came to pass because Rodrygo was complimentary about Pep and City last year.

City should really be going after a few Madrid players this summer and using our good relationship with them.

Gular is another.
I reckon he would be top class for us
We need top class players not stop gaps or potential
Again he is still young and not in his prime yet

I've said on here Guler is the closest I've seen to David Silva watching Madrid when he plays he's so calm , composed and technically excellent on the ball. I thought I was watching David Silva again. My dream target but Madrid won't let him go.

Who have we bid for?
The list of even links is pretty uninspiring

MGW - average at best
Wesley - complete unknown
Cambiaso - decent
Reingders - looks decent

The HUGE isssue is we have no creativity in any of that.

Our wingers dont create - poor crossing and no goal threat
We have very little creativity in central midfield - hence the sideways and backwards passing....
If we are going for attacking fullbacks we are going to have to get midfielders in there with Haaland as he will be on his own as our wide players dont attack the box/back post

We got lucky when we turned Delph into a left back and now Pep thinks he can do it with any player in any position
Lets give Pep some credit, he has successfully changed a lot of players position successfully Busquets was an attacking midfielder Lahm became a defender Stones did as well Yaya played a CL final as a centre back etc etc.

As for Left backs we have had the most successful spell in the clubs history and arguable the leagues history without ever having a conventional left back other than the perennially absent or injured Mendy.

The creativity will be addressed. Rodri also solves an element of this.
Partly solves it.

How else is it being addressed from the list you have put?

We are also banking on Rodri being like his old self - Pep hinted at this the other day with saying how slow we have to bring Rodri back - not playing every 3 days etc - it has to be different he said (or something like that)

Reijnders and MGW are both creative and will move the ball quicker.Full backs will also be more progressive and creative. Bobb Foden and Marmoush again creative players

So, we only have links from outside of the club. Shame some cannot keep their powder dry before official bids go in before having hissy fits.

Reinjdeers and MGW are both top drawer.

I respect your opinion, but Gibbs-White is in the top three players this season in England.

He is aggressive on and off the ball and is always looking for the forward pass.

Reinjdeers is a Rolls Royce of a player and is more creative than many appreciate right now.

IF Rodrygo is realistic, then we have even more gears.

Foden, Echeverri and Bobb, further supplement the creative outlets.

Really happy with the strong links to MGW and Reijnders meaning they are likely to happen.

Costa seems to be the chosen one of Eddie goes. But like some have said we could still lost Ortega and even Carson! Had a team ever had to replace all 3 keepers in one window before!

I guess the Livramento deal is all dependent on money now they are in CL and if we won’t spend top money we will move on to let’s say Wesley? Tino can play both sides though so do we just want 1 full back at a high level to cover both sides?

I think Rodrygo is too good of an opportunity to turn down. Not like getting a Madrid player at the tail end of their career.

Foden has never been overly creative - great no.10 goal scorer but not overly creative....Marmoush is very similar.

Bobb is an unknown whether he can make the step up - I hope so as I love the look of him

MGW has never played against a low block - his creativity comes from having lots of space in front of him to move into and pass/cross/run into - he doesnt have that next step in him - he isnt clever enough - good physical attributes but he is not the solution and will struggle against a low block that we face every week

The idea seems to be full backs but we have none at present that can do this. It would mean the end of Rico Lewis for staters as he aint that (I have no problem with this but Pep will) Khusonov will have to fight for centre half as he aint that.

Cambiaso and Wesley (who???) are the names being mentioned

Reijnders - no idea really- I hope so

Might just be me but ederson wanted out and you can’t have players not 100% committed

He has been fantastic over the years, but sometimes he has been garbage. Real Madrid both legs for one.

I think it’s time for a change, might work might not
If he wants to go let him go.

His performance this season has been well below his usual.

MGW clearly will bring another dynamic into this team but people refuse to see it.

Is it because he’s English so will get labelled as another Grealish or Phillips when he could easily have a Stones or Walker like career here. Or is it that he plays for Forest?

I just don’t get it.
