It's Quiet the £250m return

It's ridiculous, mate? He's been an outstanding talent from a very young age and some of his football this season has been very KDB.

He's hungry and ready for the next step. That trio in midfield gives anyone in Europe a run for its money.

He's better than any of the £100m players Chelsea have in their midfield.
Any chance we go back for palmer? Chavs have champions league tho so probably not. Shame the timing didn’t work out on this one while at the club.

Agreed mate.

Having watched him numerous times, his energy and work rate are top level, his decision making is class (very quick and usually the right choice), he plays forward and is always looking for that ball between the lines and has a very big dose of the **** about him which we are severely lacking. Good age, knows the league so doesn’t need 7 seasons to bed in and ticks the English quota box.

90% on here still won’t have him though.

No point in Delap....

Haaland has found it more difficult in this season with a lack of creativvity from anywhere....we dont sign some then Delap is even more pointless -
Who stole the meat and potatoes from your pasty? you sound like a lot of fun to go for a beer with, never met anyone from Cornwall who is any different though

Does it bollocks.

Reijnders has played in a midfield for a team that finished 6th in Serie A who only scored 61 goals.

MGW has just finished 7th with Forest.

The only world class player we have now is Rodri and we're hoping he returns the same player after a serious knee injury.

These players we've been linked with are average at best.

We will have to agree to disagree on MGW - i think he is another very expensive mistake
I agree his is aggressive and physical and it is something we miss but I dont think he will be able to play against low blocks. MGW doesnt get into any top team in any league regularly
Hope you are right on Reijnders - I do like the look of him
Rodrygo is a funny one - a huge step above what we have BUT attitude and application problem is something I always associate with Madrid players....maybe that is unfair in his case but its unlikely he comes and IF he does come he will have to adapt to Peps demands in work rate

Foden is one of my favourite players - but i dont think he is that creative - great no.10 in that he runs at people, great goalscorer BUT he doesnt have that final pass consistantly

Echeverri is a kid - he will play bit parts and that is IF he isnt loaned out - but we cannt replace experience and abillity we are losing with him....
Bobb - I love also but this season is a big step for him - can he make it?

You are correct that Foden isn't a consistent creator. MGW is going to shock a lot of people, however.

Wirtz doesn't play against the parked the bus either, but plenty still said he was worth the £125m risk.

City are forced to play a different game than every other team in world football, simply because of how opponents sets up.

I'd argue it is MGW's aggressiveness, coupled with his tidy feet, which makes him an obvious signing this summer.

chelsea are a fucking shambles though.

Complete scatter gun approach to transfers

Nobody is pressing our goalkeeper anymore.

That's been the big difference for our build up lethargy.

We need a goalkeeper who can command his area at set pieces and make actual saves.
Agree but I dont believe Costa is that man. Has ricks in him - especially in terms of decision making. Then again whoever we target must have excellent feet given how we play. In any case they will never match Edersons kicking. But we do need someone who commands and ocassionally uses their hands to keep the ball out of the net.

Foden has never been overly creative - great no.10 goal scorer but not overly creative....Marmoush is very similar.

Bobb is an unknown whether he can make the step up - I hope so as I love the look of him

MGW has never played against a low block - his creativity comes from having lots of space in front of him to move into and pass/cross/run into - he doesnt have that next step in him - he isnt clever enough - good physical attributes but he is not the solution and will struggle against a low block that we face every week

The idea seems to be full backs but we have none at present that can do this. It would mean the end of Rico Lewis for staters as he aint that (I have no problem with this but Pep will) Khusonov will have to fight for centre half as he aint that.

Cambiaso and Wesley (who???) are the names being mentioned

Reijnders - no idea really- I hope so
Forgot Echeverri too he looks pretty creative. Just because you don’t know enough about some of them yet does’t meant they aren’t

Agree, I don't even think the injuries are genuine, take yesterday for example, something wrong with his head I think

You could even see on the bench the staff and Ortega weren't having it and were laughing?

Personally, similar to Walker, I think he has felt unappreciated at not being recognised as a superstar like some of our other players?

Wirtz has the skill set to play against a low block - anyone can see that

I dont disagree on MGW attributes except that precise techincal ability -

If we were bringing in someone of a Wirtz type along side him then ok...but we aint and it wont be enough especially in the prem league low blocks - in europe where games are a bit more open at times...possibly
