Dunno where to put this but I can’t possibly comprehend how I’ve just seen Bournemouth fans saying his send off has been over the top.
They will never have a player like him!!
If anything his send off has been underwhelming!! He deserves so much more in his final season. All he has done for the club and some Bournemouth fans were sitting there on Tuesday saying, “He wasn’t that good” probably just some twats who’ve never watched football before!!
Was that both Bournemouth fans?

Was blessed to be there today, fantastic send off at the end of the game for the legend.

He's been so good for so long, blessed to see his first goal vs West Ham and last game vs Wolves.

As already been said Fulham fans nearly all applauded when he came on says it all, probably should have got 20 mins though.

Thank you Kev for everything, another one of our top top class legends departs.

The best compliment I can pay him is that I loved watching David Silva and was desperately sorry that he finished with us during Covid, as he didn’t get the send off he deserved.

However, I’d rather that happened to him than Kev. Simply the most talented, all round footballer I’ve ever seen. He has everything you’d ever want from a player, talent, athleticism and desire. He was the perfect footballer and I’m glad I got to watch him at his peak.

Thank you, you beautiful ginger prince!!!

Well done to Fulham support today. Class when he came on as sub. What a beautiful venue that ground is. Reminds me of Ayresome Park.....

Great video on Men in Blazers YouTube channel, really deep conversation with Kevin.

Refreshing to see intelligent questions from a knowledgeable interviewer.

Gets you doubting your acceptance about letting him go...

Never once have I thought it was the right decision. Only reasoning I could get my head around was those saying he wouldn't take a pay cut. With his injury record in recent seasons you can understand them being reluctant to pay 400k a week if he's on the sidelines. It was reported he'd have taken 150k about a month before he announced he was to leave. People on here adamant it was false as though they knew. That he wouldn't accept any less than his 400k and now it's reported he'll be going to Italy for 100k... even less than previously muted so it must have been true. Crikey, Grealish's on 3 times that and never features so there's others that should be trimmed off the wage bill well before pushing a club legend like Kev out. I think it stinks to be honest.

Can still effect games. Proven winner with bags of experience. For all of his greatness on the football pitch he doesn't have an ego. Not the Ronaldo type that'll throw a strop when everything isn't purely about him. Intelligent enough to realise the role he'll play is reduced. Surely an invaluable person to have in and around the place? Somebody the youngsters can look up to and a standard setter for the rest.

The transfer only made a semblance of sense when it looked like we might bring in a player of the stature of Wirtz and with the financials that would entail and so freeing up his wages may have been considered a necessity. However, the fact he is going to Napoli (who will pay nowhere near those wages), KDB wanted to stay, indicates a deal was there to be negotiated.

Additionally with Wirtz being ruled out, I cannot see anyone else coming in being an upgrade, plus the cost of signing them in the first place.

I have considered KDB to be dysfunctional for 2 seasons and I am relieved that he has gone. At the same time when he was fit and younger he was the finest player I have seen play for Manchester City.
