Kick off time 20:00 BST.

Being played in Wroclaw.

I guess Chelsea can't really win in the eyes of the neutrals here, they've been expected to win it since they qualified for it last summer. Probably be good for some of their players who haven't won anything yet. Their last trophy was the Club World Cup in 2021, seems ages ago!

That being said, I imagine we're all rooting for Pellegrini!

I'd be happy with an entertaining game, 4th in England v 6th in Spain, so it'll probably be a higher standard than the Europa League Final.

We really gain no credit from winning this, but stand to lose a lot of credit from losing this, so it's just a case of being professional and winning it calmly and then move on with our lives.

I've actually kind of enjoyed this competition in a way, because it has allowed us to give extended minutes to academy players who otherwise would have struggled from playing time. Tyrique George and Josh Acheampong have both played nearly 1000 minutes in this comp and a bunch of other 17-18 year olds hovering around 500 minutes.

I wonder if Maresca will stay true to the team that got us to the final or will he start all the main first team players. He's already confirmed it will be Jorgensen in goal and I suspect he'll reward the likes of George and Acheampong but I'm also pretty sure the likes of Palmer, Jackson, Madueke, Colwill will start too.

Well it's a similar kind of position that we were in against Palace. Except that the whole country was willing Palace on to win. Still a bit sore about that one. Great for Palace that they got the first trophy ever, of course, but I'm simply sick of seeing teams put eleven men behind the ball for 90 of the 100 minutes, and time wasting to an outrageous degree while they're about it.
Anyway, this is your match, not ours. Never had anything against Chelsea, but I like Pellegrini, and I've got family attachments with southern Spain, so I slightly lean that way. Only slightly, though. Just hope it's a good match in footballing terms for the neutral to watch.

I was rooting for Palace in the cup final, so I'll allow you to root for Betis in this final :)

Be nice to see Chelsea win it as it would piss off the other Cockney clubs.

Live in Wroclaw so just had a meander through the square. All good mannered so far, hopefully it'll stay that way, but I've seen enough brits succumb to the Polish ale and sun before. Can't say I'm bothered either way about the outcome. Be nice for Pellers to get another trophy.
