Tears did you just watch Nobbins on YouTube ?

Apparently off the ball we’d have to use 433 off the ball.
Marmoush Haaland Cherki
Reinjders Rodri Foden
Nouri Gvardiol Khusonov Livra
GK

It’s still very versatile and creative.
I saw that, im not buying his argument though. I think the pressure from the inside forwards is very important to the scheme. I'd rather Foden doing that.woth Marmoush with Cherki in a free role ahead of Reijnders and Rodri.

CL doesn't have an U21 rule, all four on that list would need to be in the NON HG if they go in. None are eligible for the B list either.
I dont think its a big deal to leave the likes of Echeverri and Reis off the UCL list.

They are clearly going to have a development year, cup games and premier league sub player should suffice.

If they expected more, like UCL games, then loan them out.

Yeah I just saw Nobbins video, and it has a critical error.

He had Cherki going in for KdBs RW inside forward role to reduce his load, forgetting that KdB was busting a gut to press in that role, KdB presses quite a bit.

I think maybe if the 3 fowards are bypassed, then he is saying there isnt as much rush from them to run back, that I kinda get.

But a better alternative is to just play 4231 with Cherki as a deep 10, and still use inside forwards. He wont need to run as much as the ball naturally comes to him.

That’s,the most obvious to me, if it happens etc

Right wouldn’t it make sense for Foden to be in the front line ? He’s a better presser too

Right wouldn’t it make sense for Foden to be in the front line ? He’s a better presser too. Would leave us lob sided. Marmoush can’t cover 2 players that can’t press. But I guess he wanted Cherki in the RHS. I left one of my comments on there, it’s the longest one there because of how much I watch the kid. I’d definitely give Cherki a free role. Give him the 10 role and let him and Foden just do their thing. I think we need to allow more freedom into this side. Less robotic. Systematical or methodical.

Marmoush and Foden as inside forwards with Cherki as a deep 10, all 3 behind Haaland. Thats the dream.
YOU SEE IT ! What’s not to like. Runners in Marmoush and Haaland. Small space masters in Cherki x Foden. Top 2 frontlines itw

Hello, this is my first message here on Forum. I express myself with a translation app. I apologize in advance for the mistakes and mistakes I can make in English.

I live in Lyon even though I am not a supporter of Olympique Lyonnais, so I know the player very well, I have watched a lot of his matches.

As Akliouche (Monaco), Cherki has greater potential, he is considered the greatest talent in the French Ligue 1 outside PSG. At Lyon's training center, which is one of Europe's top training centres, Cherki is considered the greatest talent since Benzema. He is spoken of as a future great player since he was 12, 13 years old, and since that young man, he has a huge pressure on his shoulders, which affected him a lot negatively, in a club in perdition (the Olympique Lyonnais) who knows the worst years of his history.

If today Cherki's price is around €30m, Akliouche (minimum 60m), it's because the club has big financial problems and heavy debts, and may go down to lower division. So he absolutely has to sell to stay in Ligue 1. he renewed his contract, and the leaders promised him to let go at a low price around twenty Millions

I read a lot of things about why big clubs didn't recruit him. Think again, some clubs have made offers, but they don't come to fruition for many reasons. Last year, he almost signed at PSG. Luis Enrique, the coach, and Luis Campos, the sporting director, enjoyed the player a lot and had a deal for him to sign it, but the player refused at the last moment and preferred BVBDortmund.

but he did not sign for Dortmund because at the last minute the German club changed coaches and unlike Edin Terzic who was sacked, and the new coach Sahin did not want the player, so to everyone's surprise the player stayed in Lyon

He turned down other offers from Premier League and European teams because he wanted a team that could play at the top.

That's a bit of clarification, if it helps answer some of your questions.

Cheers. What are the local media saying about his future?

I see it too and I like it — but I wouldn’t consider Foden a master of small spaces. Cherki, Bobb, and Ait-Nouri are the real small space masters and technicians in that regard.

As for Cherki(who is lethal from both sides and feet), will definitely get his free role. Pep doesn’t suffocate players in the final third — he actually encourages freedom and expression there. Unless the midfield is injury-ridden or underperforming, Pep allows the attackers in the final third to be instinctive and fluid when the team is firing on all cylinders.

I saw that chart. Cherki is an extreme form of the ALIEN species!!!
If we land our targets and bring in Cherki, I’m seriously looking forward to our clash with Liverpool, especially with Wirtz as their marquee signing. In fact, I’ll be hyped for every match against the top 6 in the EPL and all the heavyweights in the UCL. Let the chaos carnage begin.

Wow now it’s crime for players playing for City to expect UCl?

Shiny new toy suns kme
Just Dump a shiny new toy for newer one

Think he's made for us and I hope we pull the trigger, a ridiculous talent for his age and wouldn't be overly expensive.

One of those players who has the ability to unlock the deep block, if you give him the ball things happen.
Yep. That's his attribute I find most appealing. We've lost our assist machine in Kev, and we need a player that can unlock the parked bus and hopefully find Haaland in the tight spaces.

There's some talk about his mentality being a problem, but he has played at the top level for a few seasons (even though he's only 21), and I would have faith that Pep could iron out that part of his game.

Overall, to me this is a no brainer.
