We didn't really turn up that day. Can't say City really deserved it on the night.
It's never easy travelling to Poland for a game. Local ultras are always waiting looking for a scrap and terrorising visiting fans.
I remember going out there many, many years ago for a little trip with friends. The Netherlands happened to be playing friendly match vs Poland in this city and the cafe we were in had loads of Dutch fans just chilling before the place was overrun with local ultras in ballys smashing the cafe up, punching/kicking random people throwing chairs and tables in all directions.
That's just my own personal anecdote, but I've seen plenty of evidence over the years since that this is just something to expect when travelling to Poland for football.
