Drunk man denied boarding on Easyjet flight at Manchester Airport

I've just seen the footage and what an absolute fucking cretin. If they were stopping him from flying how did he get that far? Surely he should have been stopped earlier? Well done to the ground crew bloke who gave him a slap, he wasn't so mouthy then. Instead realising he'd met his match and knowing the ground crew bloke had been pulled away, like a typical bully he then started to pick on what I bet he thought was an easy target in the queue. A few blokes should have just jumped on the fucker and pinned him down until the police arrived.

It happens more often than you think
My niece works as cabin crew for easyjet and she's always relaying tales of drunk passengers consuming their own alcohol and vaping

Absolutely. Stricter controls need to be applied at the gate. Also anybody disrupting flights like this should have a refused flying stamp in their passport and/or put into the system for a set period of time.
I had the misfortune of catching a Thursday afternoon flight to Tenerife once. It was full of stag and hen parties pissed and drugged up. Vaping, drinking their own booze and even passing bags of coke around ( No idea how they got it through security) The stewardesses confiscated some stuff and did their best but it was the flight from hell.

About time they had enforced breathalyser before boarding.

Sure, it would slow things down, but the airport would be a much better experience without all the groups of drinkers hanging around.

Obviously it will never happen because of the amount of money it brings in.

Wow, and that bloke gets a vote, what a waste of oxygen. But is it about time airports stopped serving alcohol, I know it won't stop some people but the temptation for some people to start their holiday at 6.00am with a few pints is too much. I suspect this guy might also have been on some marching powder as well. How long did it take for security to arrive though?

My nephew works for jet2 cabin crew and before that on check in, some of the things he's told us.
A lot of the pissed up stories are mostly with middle and elderly aged people causing trouble.
