Is this game very meaningful to either side other than the 'winning a european trophy' factor as Chelsea have UCL and Betis have UEL next season?
Chelsea want to win it as they have won every European trophy out there except this one.

How was that lucky? That was a well deserved win by the better team on the night.
True, I wouldn't say you were lucky and anyway if you were so long as you win nobody cares. I would say Pep totally fucking up our selection and the thug Rudiger not being sent off for his assault on Kev helped but, Rudiger aside, you couldn't help that.
Oh no, I'm not opening up that can of worms again haha.
But yes, I think Pep fucked up but I also think Tuchel got his stuff spot on. Thinking back, to win the CL with Havertz and Werner as your main starters up front takes some special coaching.
That was some feeling that final whistle. I’d looked forward to that game all day after being unable to sleep. The day went on forever and as soon as I saw that team sheet the energy just zapped out of me.True, I wouldn't say you were lucky and anyway if you were so long as you win nobody cares. Hmmm you won - so any counter argument is ultimately futile - better team hmmm debatable??How was that lucky? That was a well deserved win by the better team on the night.

At least we made up for it a few years later.

Havertz scoring is always lucky though.
I don’t know anyone who thought we should have won that. From the moment the team sheet was put up, any hope we had vanished in a dash. It's not really debatable imo. We were the better team on the night and we fully deserved to win the final. I haven't really seen too much disagreement with that anywhere, even from City fans, so if you disagree, it feels like you're in a minority even amongst your own fans.

I’ll be watching and whilst I wish you luck, I don’t want anything but a Betis win - purely because of Pellegrini. And I was a nervous mess all day but when I saw the line up, I was still nervous because it was still City and Pep, but I felt a little better about our chances.
But enough derailing the thread :)
I'm a bit nervous for this game tbh. Failing to win the conference league would be embarrassing.
No no no. We will have at least three days of Slimy Stome linking the success directly to the fidget spinner and the Rags by association.Antony winning a trophy this season would be somewhat amusing.
Chelsea fans warming up, I see.....
I can’t begin to describe how shocked I am.
