I remember turning a corner in Lokeren and seeing a big fck off water cannon.

Don't think it was ever used but it certainly calmed down a few Blues on the night.

I bet. I'd imagine that Belgium on an autumn evening is hardly a tropical paradise, with sweltering temperatures. So, the prospect of getting absolutely saturated by a high pressure blast of cold water wouldn't be very appealing.
 
To be honest, it looks like café chairs at ten paces to me. A lot of posturing and gesturing. Deplorable, of course, but by God there aren't too many coppers on duty, are there? A squadron of trained riot police could have probably sent both sets scattering very rapidly.

On the serious subject: I don't somehow think this is quite a done deal for Chelsea. Betis will be hugely up for this. As were a certain Crystal Palace in a final they played recently, so I'm told. Could be a cracking match.

I was working in the Gardens at the time, and had classes til 10ish. Some of the shit that day warranted child services getting involved. 10 year olds with passed out dads. A family complained to my mate working that pub in the station when they closed early. "Where are we supposed to sleep now?"

I remember the dog's abuse Sterling got at Stamford Bridge a few years ago, and Rudiger's disgusting challenge on Kev in Porto, so fuck 'em. Plus, the charming Holistic man is in charge of Betis. Also, it's hilarious seeing the fidget spinner putting in regular MOTM performances there, after stinking out the gaff in Trafford. Come on Los Verdiblancos!
 
Interesting how Antonio keeps saying how much he wants Betis to win. Imagine him being allowed to say that if the rags or dippers were the English team? No I can’t either
