City’s New Kits

Puma/City always try to be a bit too 'clever' with shirts... especially the backgrounds, we really just want a clean basic shirt without 0161 or paisley or Poznan additions.

Anyway my black away is due to arrive tomorrow so looking forward to having hopefully bought the correct size .

That shirt could have become a modern classic, but instead they put a bunch of shit on it to try to make it seem relevant or tailored to City. I don’t know why they can’t leave things the fuck alone!

If City & Puma really wanted to sell shirts, they’d let fan designs stand a chance! In fact, I think we should have at least one fan-designed shirt every season, even if it’s not the First Team kit!

I’ve seen some awesome kits from Bluemooners on here and, compared to some of the gash we get, they’d sell far better!

Trying to create something new things that tie to the history of the club is a contradiction, right? I mean, if they really want something that can be connected to the club then just redesign a kit from the 80's.

Totally agree, there’s a kid on Twitter (X) that has done some outstanding designs over the years. Think his name was Wavey Creations or something, thought these two containing old maps of greater Manchester were absolutely stunning.

Can only imagine the hate on here if Puma put a map imprint in one of our shirts haha.

I think most fan creations I see are actually pretty crap.

Those you posted are decent mockups, but if the first we saw if either was a crap picture of a crumpled knock-off version on someone's carpet, or on a black plastic mannequin, then everyone would be saying they were crap and complaining about the pattern.
