Exactly. I imagine there's a defence for pretty much any charge if you look hard enough for one. Aside from the damage to the car they're also distracting the driver by putting his window through etc. How they or anybody else can genuinely believe that would help the situation is beyond me. Would they have acted like that individually? Highly doubtful.

The drivers acted like a **** we can all agree on that. He will get what is coming to him. I know I wouldn't have ended up mowing people down, but I genuinely don't know how I'd have reacted if my car was getting attacked by all sides. Stay stationary? No... Get out the car? Certainly not. That's having time to think about it, not being on any drugs and having to act in the moment.
Depends what is going through the minds of the people in the crowd. It isn’t beyond the realms that in that instant they’ve already seen the car being driven erratically, and with the times in which we live they immediately think this is an attack and then try to get the keys or driver out to null the threat? Don’t forget, all this is happening quick in real time.

Agree I don't understand why the police are going down the attempted murder charge.
Attempted Manslaughter is more likely, unless the police have found proof in his house or car that he set out to kill people.
What about before the main incidents when he slammed into reverse to remove the back pack guy.

The vehicle was moving some at that point. He was clearly doing that remove the person from behind his car?

Ok Probably a bit harsh on scousers in general, but I have very little time for Liverpool fans and their bullshit claims and double standards.
So you've gone from, ''Its in their (scousers) DNA,'' to ''Liverpool fans.''
And you've edited the original.
There's a lesson to be learned here and eventually you might narrow down your stereotyping to ''A handfull.''

Yes, but trying to prove his intention was to kill that person is a very high bar to get over.

That could be argued for some of them further down the road, but not the two who were punching and booting the back of the car at the start. They were doing that to cause damage to his car, not to get him out of it.

Not enough video to establish what happened in the immediate build up to that. Something clearly has.

Yes, but we keep getting told not to hypothesise or speculate on here and that is exactly what your suggestion is.

What we know is;

*We've seen a car where it shouldn't have been- whether this is a fault of the driver through opportunism or poor traffic management
*A car getting attacked
*A dickhead driving into the crowd immediately after their car being violently attacked

Well he reversed slowly initially where a woman crossed the car from behind (without looking) and he lightly bumped her. Not ok obviously but that then caused the yobs to start punching and smashing windows. At that point he reversed faster as he had a caveman on his back window. There are no actions from the driver to suggest any intent or harm BEFORE the tossers started attacking the car, that is where the defence will lie if they are sticking to attempted murder, which will fall down as I can't see that intent being proved beyond a reasonable doubt.

ultimately it will be for a court to decide once he's charged-i do expect him to be charged with att murder

There's plenty. You just haven't budged from your position no matter what is out there
The earliest bit I’ve seen was new as of last night, with him going slow and a woman walks out in front him, seemingly not looking. He stops for that and then carries on. Between that and the kid with the back pack, something has gone on to provoke such a reaction. Hopefully they find out what and it gets taken from there.

Well from what we see it was the initial reverse where he nudges that woman (who wasnt looking) that resulted in the wankers smashing his windows and the guy in the back pack, that is the immediate before he then put his foot down. Every other bit of footage in the build up shows him moving slowly, breaking to let people pass. The bit we see is where he does nudge someone slowly and that caused a reaction. If anything else comes out outside of that we will see but you keep claiming something big must have set the fans off, out of pure guess work, rather than sticking to what we know
