Khaldoon's End of Season Review 2025

Does anyone actually feel they know anything now that they didn't before watching this?
A lot of reassurance and clearly the club is in good hands but no real news.

Part 2 will be the spicy one when Chris will obviously.grill him on fans protests, season cards and Sorianos disneyland vision

The enthusiasm from Khaldoon is infectious.

Never settle, build and improve. The club is being run with that mantra in mind.

We aren't going to be an arsenal and be happy with CL qualifications and creaming the cash. He wants us to dominate the world game for years.

The attitude of the new season started after Fulham makes me think they've told the players to rest as much as possible and we're going to be in a better position this time next year.

He's playing spin doctor a little bit and hasn't really said anything apart from, importantly, that we'll have a new side by the Club World Cup.

So we should be looking to move quickly on the likes of Reijnders, Cherki, Ait Nouri and so on.

But also surely that means we'll be looking to get rid of enough players before the CWC too?

Not at all, I don't want to be told it was an ok season or it worded that being in 7 fa cup semi finals is a massive achievement, whilst coming out with the cup twice or 3 semi finals on the bounce is a great achievement whilst we lost two of them finals to teams that finished 8th and 12th. Say it how it is, bad season, one to learn from, take a CL spot and move on. Don't sell it to me as a good season.

He won't be asked any questions he doesn't want to answer, it'll all be vetted and we'll get a political response about the fans being put first and how they've acted with the flexi gold being able to become a full season card and price freezes and then nothing else will change.

They are massive achievements.
It was an okay season.

Khaldoon can’t say a lot this time round but, over the years, he’s been brilliant for our Club.

Im listening at the moment, not a lot being said of substance, but encouraging noises being made about the direction we are going, squad overhaul etc. Lets see what happens.
