That's exactly the sort of thing that AI would do. I've had it do that myself.
There has been a very big increase in threats to the judges, co-inciding with Trumps verbal attacks on them. They have met to discuss setting up their own security arrangements as they don’t trust Trump not to order the Marshalls to stand down. His mates on SCOTUS will be getting home visits.
oh yeah, definitely AIThat's exactly the sort of thing that AI would do. I've had it do that myself.
My Wife did her BA and MA at Lincoln Uni fairly recently. There is a fairly large community of Chinese students at Lincoln, and hardly any of them stay on after they complete their degree's.You're imagining bachelor degree students. At masters or PhD level, there are a fair few. And the number of these types of visas skyrocketed when they allowed them not only to bring their family, but also to automatically stay for 2 years after their student visa was finished. So suddenly anyone who could afford to do a masters degree (which only take a year full time) and could get accepted on any course could get a 3 year visa for themselves and their entire family, and their partner could then work in the UK. And the terms were actually more favourable than a UK citizen trying to bring their foreign spouse back.
Compare that to what is often required to move to another country to work, and it's so much easier. You're basically creating a system where the people making visa decisions, rather than being employers who have to foot the bill and do all the admin and at least to some extent, prove a need, is now an organisation that's desperate for your money. And it's worth mentioning that this was a very deliberate Tory policy announced with much fanfare, which they tried to distance themselves from when a million people came in a year.
For the record, I did a masters degree last year at Manchester uni and the vast majority of students on the course were around 22 or 23, Chinese, and had no intention of staying in the UK after their course finished.
Got it in one!what if they are just a little bit nasty or can you only say the nicest things to him as otherwise its fake news
And they won't be invited back again.Got it in one!
If the question is not a fawning softball, it’s nasty!
Not a blithering idiot orNo. He is not.
Pepe! Long time no see.
There are so few “independent” journalistic outlets left, it’s hard to know what is true and what isn’t!And they won't be invited back again.
It's essentially the erosion of the 1st Amendment. Yes, the media can still pose their questions (for now), but it's difficult for the press to directly question the government when their access is limited.
Appeals Court says, “Wait a minute…”It seems the taco shitgibbon has been thwarted by the courts once more, this time on his tariffs. I'm getting the impression that the sane element of American governance has settled on its position now, dug its heels in and is starting the laborious process of clawing back the ground lost to the insane felon.
Musk has gone, polls are showing loss of support for the mango clown, his executive orders, or a good number of them at least are stalled in the courts, for the first time since November I'm starting to think the Yanks might be coming to their senses.
It beggars belief that it's got to this stage, but things take time when you follow due process I guess.
Come on 'Murica, I'm rooting for you
Appeals Court says, “Wait a minute…”
‘No opinion or reasoning’? Surely you have to have a reason to overturn something, not just because somebody told you to?"May 29 (Reuters) - A federal appeals court on Thursday reinstated the most sweeping of President Donald Trump's tariffs, a day after a trade court had ruled Trump had exceeded his authority in imposing the duties and had ordered an immediate block on them.
An order from the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington provided no opinion or reasoning but directed the plaintiffs in the case to respond by June 5 and the administration by June 9".
But of course... *EYEROLL_EMOJI*
‘No opinion or reasoning’? Surely you have to have a reason to overturn something, not just because somebody told you to?
That’s what you get when you are unaccountable, and says a lot about AMerida at the moment.
Is that classed as autocratic?
It's a temporary stay while they consider the appeal.‘No opinion or reasoning’? Surely you have to have a reason to overturn something, not just because somebody told you to?

That probably makes sense with the wording, but surely you’d look at the constitution, and the way it was invoked, to either let the original rule run or put a stay on it?It's a temporary stay while they consider the appeal.
It’s unbelievable that they re-elected him but we are where we are and I so hope you’re right. It seems the taco shitgibbon has been thwarted by the courts once more, this time on his tariffs.
