Pep Ljinders appointed as assistant coach | James French joins as set-piece coach (p15)

Slightly disappointed Fernandinho isn't returning but a very good appointment
The soppy sod in all of us would like to see the likes of Dinho return. But you need to ask yourself, who has more experience coaching/working with players at the elite level? I've just googled Dinho. It seems like he hasn't any of that aforementioned experience; he's still playing (or, at least, registered as a player) with Athletico Paranaenses, where he started his career. He turned 40 at the beginning of May!

Shocked about this, but he has a great cv under Klopp, and like I've posted about this before, what we see isn't the same as what Pep people at City and how they get along with them after games..

One thing he will bring his magic beans
And his Passwords, payback is long overdue.

Logic tells you that it is a bit of stretch but then again Arteta joined us directly from retiring from Arsenal and did a decent job as part of the Backroom staff which included the Centurions season.

"It’s 10 years full of dedication. I always said I will finish with Jurgen; the moment I will not assist anyone else."

Well until Red Bull sack me.....

Just hope he's not thinking of bringing Darwin over during the summer

Don't know how to feel about this, on one hand he's been a successful number 2 and him coming here will drive the feral lot wild but on the other hand, he failed as a manager and wasn't given the dipper job either when it was claimed he would succeed Klopp. Also he went full dipper.

Skeptical. Probably rather it wasn't him but if he is who pep wants and who they've deemed the best fit then go so be it.
So did Brian Kidd fail as a manager but what a fantastic assistant manager he was, some are just not cut out for being the main man
