Reform 2025 Limited new name same business

another in the never ending stupidity - this one stayed up for just a few minutes - David Harewood has played Othello in the - to give its full title - The Tragedy of Othello, the Moor of Venice - clues in the title really. Is it any wonder Grimes dropped out of further education?

Taking the piss he SHOULD lose the seat

So for the by-election Reform are putting up more candidates than there are vacancies? In a first past the post election?

Oh yes. Let me think for a moment.......

Reform MP's, all 5 of them, representing the new, self declared party of the people, voted against the Employment Rights Bill currently passing through parliament.

Not much care about ordinary people with that collective decision, is there?

I'm not falling for their bullshit.

Cretinous party. Beneath contempt. Grifters and scumbags, all of them. I have a bit of compassion for the people who've fallen for the grift to a degree.
We are where we are as a country because of the labour and conservative parties. Reform as you know are a new party so tell me how you've come to that conclusion.

That’s gotta be bollocks, mate. The company that have just said that they’ll reverse the WFA and 2 child rule, whilst also giving us all a huge tax break, surely they’ll want to see better employment rights for the people?

More surprising that they were actually in attendance.

yet more Grimes stupidity - if he wants to make this point then final flourish of "Stormtrooper" is at best badly judged

They aren’t though, are they?

They are UKIP and Brexit Party, in a different form. They want to agitate, and enact change with no plan of how to deliver the change. They deal in the lowest common denominator issues, with grandiose plans of change. Ie: immigration and crypto, and don’t focus on education/health/infrastructure.

Farage is excellent at getting ahead of popular opinion and running with it, even if it’s contradictory (eg cashless society bad / being in crypto - within a year - complete polar opposites)

Personally i reached that conclusion after looking at their leader
The fact that he thinks the sun shines out of Trumps arse & praised Liz Trumps budget before it wrecked the economy should be major red flag. People thinking Farage will be great PM need to give their heads a serious wobble. He sucks people into his cult just as Trump does.

Got back from Cornwall this morning. Now Reform UK in their Durham manifesto they guaranteed that once they got in all reported pot holes would be repaired within 24 hours. Imagine my surprise to find the pot hole outside my house still there despite me reporting it on the 20th May
I have just sent a strongly worded email. Lol

you ungrateful bugger - go down to the County Council and rejoice there are no Ukraine nor Pride flags flying any more. The Deputy Leader's next "fix" will be fixing all LBTQ+ issues because as a gay person himself he harbour internal loathing and insecurities so attack what he is. Be patient someone will be round in the next 4 years to lob a layer of tarmac over a water filled hole and fuck off quickly declaring it fixed before the next frosts break it up and some passing van puts a chunk through your windscreen. You people just don't understand how local Govt works.

Sorry that last line was aimed at your council not you mate lol

Frarage is excellent at standing on the sideline, watching which direction the crowd is heading, running to the front, and shout as loudly as possible 'follow me. I'll take you there'.

!2 months ago he was adamant no public money should subsidise British Steel, and if they go under, then so be it.

A few weeks ago he sallied up to Scunthorpe, donned his flat cap, and with great publicity, honourably declared British Steel should be nationalised to protect the jobs there.

He follows the wind, and has never in his life mounted any sort of campaign to improve the lot of those he has been elected to represent in any meaningful way.

He'll willingly take the salary and pensions his 'public service' has granted him, but he does absolutely fuck all to earn it.

For the sake of the residents I hope the Reform councils don't do anything illegal, like try and set a budget that doesn't balance, but Durham had already had a bankruptcy warning.

Freezing council tax in the past is what got a lot of councils into trouble, as they can never recover the lost income while the pressures from social care costs couldn't be frozen.

I'd think the Chief Finance Officer in a Reform-run council will be looking at when he or she has to step in and take over setting the budget. Whatever you vote for, councillors can't break national law. (That's true of all councils, but only Reform councils have been elected on promising to freeze council tax.)
