No but most Monaco races are done and dusted by the end of lap 1. At least we've had something else to think about throughout. Not going to pretend it's been brilliant I'm not that naive but at least they tried something different!
Terrible pit stop in the Indy 500.
It was a good line.Just seen Max’s post race interview saying the only way to fix Monaco is to make it like Mario cart and throw bananas out of the car hahaha
I don’t like him but that was funny
RB demanded the front wing change?Looks like the RB demanded rule change has backfired on them.
McClaren looked shit hot in practice 3.
Karen Horner cry arsed about it so much they changed the rules.RB demanded the front wing change?
Red Bull are to blame for all the world's ills; Ukraine, Gaza, Trump, Tesla.RB demanded the front wing change?
Didn’t know that, heard an interview where they refused to say who were the main protagonists.Karen Horner cry arsed about it so much they changed the rules.
Zak Brown hasn't been very cryptic when asked about it.Didn’t know that, heard an interview where they refused to say who were the main protagonists.
I've been watching F1 for 50 years, and I love Monaco, if only for the tradition and all the history.Yeah I’m with you mate.
It was/is a perfectly good idea and if they insist on keeping this shite circuit on the calendar I’m not against keeping the two stop thing next season.
If it were up to me they’d make it an exhibition race with no points awarded. Get all the drivers to race classic versions of their team’s cars and give a load of money to charity or something
The whole "Karen Horner" thing does puzzle me, I have to admit. To those that use that dig, I'll ask one question; do you honestly think Toto Wolff, or Zak Brown, or Fred Vasseur, or Andrea Stella would be any different if they were in Horner's shoes? Of course not; they're all ruthless men (they have to be, given their positions), and I have no doubt that they'd all do whatever it takes, however iffy, to gain an advantage in a highly competitive sport. And Wolff hasn't been shy about channeling his inner Karen from time to time. But, I guess Red Bull, Horner and Verstappen have been public enemies numbers 1, 2 and 3 on here since the 2021 season.
And in answer to the obvious question; no, I don't particularly have a horse in the race. Though I think it'd be good for the sport to see a "new" face clinch the title. Norris, Piastri, Russell or LeClerc (though those last two are a long way behind) would be, for me, a welcome champion.
