TV Series

Got round to watching the final episode of series two of The Last of Us.

I know it’s not very popular on here. But I enjoyed it. Not the greatest show ever but I’m a fan anyway.

Probably going to be a long wait but I’ll definitely be on the look out for the third series.

Others have said they didn’t like the ending but I thought it set it up a third season quite nicely. An interesting teaser for a whole new type of show next time probably.
Please, and I'm not taking the piss here, what did you enjoy about it?
Because I thought the second series was just dull. It dragged on forever, with hardly any action, just overly long scenes, too much melancholy, and extended dialogue about nothing particularly relevant to the plot.
Talking of which, does anyone remember what the actual plot is?
It's poor.
Propping it up just because it was once a popular game doesn't excuse bad telly.

I preferred the second series more, partly because of its gentler pace and continuous story line. As opposed to the first series, which was more a succession of individual stories told a frantic pace.

It’s hard to be too specific without giving anything away. But I enjoyed the way the characters and their relationships with each other were developed more in the second series. Rather than the smash, bang, wallop of the first. The episode where they filled in all the blanks between the two series, I thought was the standout episode of the whole show.

And I’m not drawn to it because of the game. I’ve never played a video game in my life. Just thought it was a fairly decent TV programme.

Fair enough fella, thanks for that.
Life would be a bit boring if we all liked the same things I guess.

This Mobland is shite. No idea why I'm still watching it. Have to look away whenever Brosnan and Mirren appear. The woman from Afterlife is possibly the worst but her redeeming quality is she's not in it very much.

The show's got Guy Ritchie's greasy little fingerprints all over it.

I don’t mind it tbh, it’s just popcorn tv. I get people wanting more given the acting cast it’s got but it’s clearly just a bit of fun for them too.

Stranger Things season 5 part 1 to come out on November 27th, Tranksgiving in America, just an ordinary Thursday for us in the U.K.

Parts 2, and 3 will come out Boxing Day and New Year’s Day in the U.K.

Finished Dept Q in a few days. I'd recommend it. A bit drawn out with a few unnecessary twists and turns but good quality tv.

Reminded me of a good BBC miniseries that you'd have watched with you Mam in the 90s and both of ye yapping about your theories all the way through.

Some on here say it's crap but I think I'll give it a watch.

I think you need to watch it with the right mindset. If you approach it hoping for gritty underworld realism and start getting concerned with its lack of authenticity. Then you probably won’t enjoy it.

If you take it for what it is. A bit of silly, totally over the top pantomime, then it’s great fun.

Just finished season 3 of Bosch Legacy.
Great as always and interesting to see Renee Ballard introduced as well.
Although the story with her was too rushed it will get better with the longer season episodes.
