Out of interest, what is the difference between offering him a new deal any other season to this one?

He has never had any real justification to be on the bench and especially not when we already had Ortega sitting there.

If the people who say well he was doing a bit of coaching etc, which would have been fine but why isn't he being made a keeper coach now?

Guy has been living his best life on 20k a week for not doing a great deal, were Derby County really paying him 20k when we took him on loan?
