North Stand Construction Discussion

Worth noting, as with the South Stand, that the new roof ending doesn’t actually finish that much higher than the old roof despite the stand being much bigger. This is because the old roof sloped upwards and the new roof slopes downwards.

True, but it is all relative. 'Not that much higher' is 5.5 metres in reality. Doesn't appear big at the scale of everything else, but still a significant height difference in its own right imo.

Surely there’s a screen going in each corner?
Get one done then the other? Gonna look odd otherwise!
I don't care as long as there's at least one - they even took the TVs away above us in NS lower and, presumably due to the works, the speakers aren't working, so the KdB send off was some tiny ginger bloke whispering into a mic

Apologies for not posting the pictures this evening.

I was doing my neighbours front garden and weeding the path. It took longer than I thought it would do.

I will definitely post the pictures tomorrow afternoon.

I also took pictures of the women’s new training facility on the CFA, which I will post in the Etihad Campus thread.

PS. The temporary yellow roof beam supports are already being put into the Keith Anderson large skips next to the North Stand.
