Grealish left out of the CWC squad (pg34)

I hope he lands well and finds somewhere to revitalise his career.

There is definitely a very good player in there and we've seen it but not so consistently as we'd like.

The past season or two he's been hampered by fitness issues and it seems obvious that he has an emotional fragility that causes a lot of problems. Seems to be lots of imposter syndrome and self-doubt and when that's going on in your head it must be so hard to keep fighting and keep taking risks.

Forever grateful for his contributions to the Treble season, and for the kindness and consideration he's shown to so many children and disabled fans.

I wish him well and hope he ends up somewhere where he gets regular game time and the love he thrives on.

Wow, you’re adding earnings on to emphasise your point. Something I’d expect from a rag or some bell sniffing **** on X from The Mail.

I’m sure the majority of Blues will simply wish him well and think of what he brought and contributed.
 
Heart over head always wanted Jack to succeed with us and was turning to blind faith in the hope he would rediscover his form and prove himself. End of the road sadly, but wish him all the best.

If nothing else, he has given City fans one of the most iconic photos of all time. That alone was worth £100m!

Yeah, similar feelings. I liked Jack, and so wanted him to get back to his best, but he never really hit top form and partly I think Pep never had a system that got the best out of him. Not a winger, but not industrious enough inside, he never got many chances but Pep must have felt he wasn’t good enough to play there for some reason.

I think most are just sad that it hasn't worked out for Jack. Not heard any hatred for him. He reminds me of Stan Bowles. I am sure most of our fans wish him well.
 
Jacko is a good lad so no point attacking him.

Fuck knows what has happened behind the scenes. I had high hopes when he signed and he did contribute just not enough.

Hopefully he gets a good standing ovation at some point to thank him.

Not everyone can be kdb unfortunately.

Try and get £40m for him and it wasn’t such a bad deal all things considered.

let’s hope he don’t start sounding his mouth off as that will eventually turn things south.

4 of the 6 had big contributions in why we're playing in the tournament to begin with.
 
I’m sorry but has a transfer for Jack been confirmed?? Have I missed something?

I am assuming that the Jack Grealish player performance page has been locked because of this?

Where is he going?
 
I think it's pretty clear if he moves on, it's going to be for a pitance at best and we'll probably be paying most if his wages too so I'd have just taken him to this and used him in the first few games. Puts him in the shop window and gives the players who have a future here less needless game time over the summer and whatever club comes in for him on the cheap will have to wait until after cwc.

We've got a lot of players that aren't going to be involved already, ideally you want to be limiting the involvement of some of the players who played a lot last season but at this rate, we'll be fielding the same 11 every game.

Not going anywhere yet, but him being left out of the CWC squad pretty much means he's gone. The player performance thread was also locked when he was left out of the team against Fulham.

Don't have to tell me twice! I just wanted to give those choice words to the poster I replied to because he gets off on having a go at fellow supporters for backing one of our own players.
