Seems strange to decide a player who is under contract and fit to play is not going to be part of the travelling squad. The squad is a minimum of 26 and at most 35 players and there will be 26 named in a match day team + subs. That's a big squad and the makeweights can't all be kids when we know that KdB and Kovacic defiantly won't travel. Daily Telegraph has been known to be wrong before - wait for 10 June to see is speculation is true.

Did he even play in that game?Jack was fantastic in that game against Atleti which was one of the best (defensive) peformances I have seen from any City team. Whatever happens you cant take away his medals from the treble season.
Heart over head always wanted Jack to succeed with us and was turning to blind faith in the hope he would rediscover his form and prove himself. End of the road sadly, but wish him all the best.
If nothing else, he has given City fans one of the most iconic photos of all time. That alone was worth £100m!

Okay Kova injured and Kev not at City so we are now down to 2 of the 4 go on give me a clue, so we take kova ( plaster and bandages ) and kidnap Kev so he can't sort out a new club.4 of the 6 had big contributions in why we're playing in the tournament to begin with.

He needs regular playing time. Sadly, apart from a few months two seasons ago, he never seemed to deliver. I doubt if anyone will pay his City salary next season, so maybe a loan and then sell at a huge loss. Shame, he seems like a popular member of the squad, but maybe needs to temper his bad lad reputation a little.

I’ve loved having him in our club, think he’s top.
Never really been used in his Villa free role so we’ve never seen him properly shine other than in glimpses. Much better player than he’s shown at City.
It’s time to move him on though. If he isn’t getting that free role it’s a bit pointless him being around. Well miss his control though.

You've been a member since 2009, surely you can't be that baffled by what some people type on here lolIt's a shame; He had the heart and was genuinely determined to see City successful. Was never utilised properly but he also didn't grab the opportunities that came his way towards the end.
Yet I am still baffled about the unjustified hatred some Blues have for the guy.
