Yep, I've supported City for about 35 years and I never heard Citizens (or Cityzens, as they prefer to spell it) being used to describe City until social media came about.
The Observer book of football back inthe early 70s listed all the teams and their nicknames. Citzens was the City nickname back then.

City have been know as the Citizens for many years. It is not used as much now since the new nickname for the club became popular. City now go by the new nickname of 'cheating bastards' which is widely used by rival fans.

Been Citizens for many years. I’m 66 and knew our nickname when I was a kid, in fact knew most clubs nicknames.

Howw have wolves agreed to that fee.

£33.6m - £9m to Angers = £24.6m to wolves. Saw a wolves account post this.
1 year left and the player wants to go to City. Having a good relationship with City is also a bonus they were reported to be interested in McAtee so could get some favourable deals go there way as well. Doyle last year was a good deal for them because they had no money so got him on a low fee but big sell on %.

Did anyone actually use them? Or is this like that 'murder of crows' bollocks where it is literally only ever used as some bit of trivia for what they are apparently called?
