Elon Musk

Because they know the ultra rich will bugger off out the country to avoid tax ?
That loophole could be cut off by passing appropriate laws.

The reason that taxes won't increase on the ultra rich - is because the ultra rich fund the vast majority of elected official campaigns - to the extend that going against them, likely means that you won't be elected.

And so it begins, it’s took like slightly longer than most thought but now he will fully turn on Trump, they are both of their heads, I fully expect him to go full democrat for mid terms and try and ruin Trump to try and get some credibility back after whats happened. Obviously the dumb Americans will lap it all up.

and if Musk goes all in on attacking the Reps and takes his $$$ with him could be curtains for some in the upcoming mid-terms who will be relying on donations to launch a slick campaign

Musk is only the first to turn.
The mega rich don't like what he has done to the markets and with the tariffs.
The press have finally got a voice, and big company's don't seem so afraid to speak out anymore.

Trump doesn't care what happens to the future economy of the US. He won't be around. And he is making his family so rich, that they won't care either.

The biggest grift in history has been allowed to happen. I'm just hoping the demise will be "Big and Beautiful", and the "Biggest and Beautifully long sentences" are handed out.

The laws surrounding election campaign funds needs to be the first thing fixed.

Apparently he's put a poll up on Twitter about whether it's time for a third party.
Maybe we'll find out exactly how much influence he can wield.

Claiming trump is only president because of him isnt sending the message he thinks it is, it's only highlighting he's most at fault for the shitshow.

The guy is very possibly the second biggest prick on the planet, but he's finally turned on the biggest prick on the planet so I'll temporarily root for him.

I suspect that's to rile Trump and send a message to Congress in equal measures.

There will be a lot of people there wondering which way to jump.

The saddest part of this whole thing is the realization that, literally, the richest man on earth might be able to determine who is and is not elected ANYWHERE in the country, in any election, at any time…and the candidate doesn’t even need to be in on it!

Strategic media buys and a slew of tweets can shape any election, which means Musk can throw his weight into ANY ELECTION, AT ANY TIME!

The good thing is, he might help turn the House next year, but IS IT a good thing for the supposed “free and fair election” process in America?

Congress needs to write a SCOTUS-proof campaign finance bill, if that is even possible, to try to overturn Citizens United, otherwise Mountainhead will not just be a shit movie with a shit scary premise!

An "expert" on bbc is saying he's lost $100bn since becoming part of the government, no idea if true, but that must be hurting musk.
