Beats me if he'll run - he's even less disciplined than Trump. And I don't think that he craves to hold political office.

Nonetheless, his relevance to the Political subforum is that he inserts himself into numerous controversial topics pretty much all of which are supported by the Right and deplored by any thinking human being.

A Republican friend of mine - for example - really holds Musk in high regard. And this before Elongate. Musk is a divisive public figure whose statements and behavior end up quintessentially political.

But yes, I take your point - perhaps this thread better belongs in the Off Topic forum.

They should all leave then. Telling your workforce to go elsewhere if they don't like it in a world where there are labour shortages where there are too few people is not clever - we have numerous example of that here. Fuck him and let his factories grind to a halt.

I suppose he’s welcome to ask this of EAW staff, and he has a point about factory workers not having an option. Lots of large manufacturing businesses struggling with this dichotomy. Of course, whether or not it’s very intelligent from a business standpoint is another question, and how he states his view is also probably a clue to his character. Kind of akin to “the beatings will continue until morale improves.” Doubt he’s going to show up in the new version of “Good To Great.”
