Grealish left out of the CWC squad (pg34)

If i was ITK I would either be informing people of my inside info or staying out of conversations, telling people they are wrong without disclosing said info which makes them wrong. What is the point?

His message implies behind the scenes issues with Grealish, as expected. My counter to that is why have him fill up a seat on the bench, why have players, young players who contributed to our cup run bombed out on cup final day, to have Jack sat there with no intention of playing him. Heaven forbid you should ask such questions about Pep, Billygimp won't be happy about that.

Good question so why do you think Pep did that? Pick a kid to come on instead of Grealish?

There may be a falling out, but I'd say it's more likely that the club have told him he's not in next seasons plans and it's better he stays home and start the transfer process.

Maybe there's some real interest in buying him and wheels may be in motion, so it makes no sense for him to be in USA with us.

If Jack gets sold this summer we were denied the opportunity to send him on his way like we did with Kev at home to Bournemouth.

Ah well. When we next play the club he'll be playing for we will no doubt give him a rousing reception whilst singing his song.

Us blues have class, we're not rags or dippers.

Haha.
And perhaps deliver his statue to his new club. :)

For me what's happened is, Jack hasn't played like he did in the treble season for whatever reason, Pep said publicly he wants that Jack back and tried to motivate him by not putting him in the team. It didn't work. It hasn't worked.

Grealish certainly seems to have 'cooked his goose' as far as Peps concerned ... i don't know why ..... could be his weight, his attitude, maybe he's had a row with Pep, it could be his previous boozing antics, maybe he's not doing enough in training, or maybe Pep doesn't like it that Grealish doesn't appear to take his duties, or the club seriously enough .... whatever it is Pep doesn't appear to be in a forgiving mood, and it looks for all the world as if Grealish will be moving somewhere soon, and probably at a substantial loss on the fee we paid for him .... his situation hardly appears to be any better with England ..... maybe a loan spell might provide a temporary solution but who's gonna pay his wages?

I'd much sooner see Jack go out on loan, get fresh and fit, playing regularly, come back with a renewed attitude as he's still got years left in him. Selling him, 'cutting our losses', making it all about cost and value (When he's already recouped that for us) doesn't benefit anyone and isn't something i'm behind.

Loan him, let him prove he still has the desire. If he shows none at the club he's loaned to, nor any desire to come back, then i'd be behind him moving on.

I'd prefer to get 40 million and that's the end, his wages are a burden. His time here is over and as we know, once you fall out with Pep that's it.

Believe it or not most supporters inside the stadium are behind Jack and his song gets sung at least one a game when he does something good.

A statue formed from that pic you don't like would look good I think. I doubt we'd get one commissioned though.

You're entitled to your wrong opinion.

His time is done. A decent innings, and a hugely popular member of the squad, but hasn’t fulfilled his potential overall I’d say. But still so glad we signed him. He was part of that legendary group of players. That’s worth £1,000 million in my book.

And not sure why City fan is remotely arsed what we paid for him if he helped us win the fucking Treble.

Maybe we'll never know mate, but we do know that once your out in the cold that's it, ask Cancello and a few others.
It's best for all concerned if he leaves.
Hopefully we get a half decent fee and Jack takes a cut in wages to play regularly.
I still can't believe we gave him 300k a week for 5 years.... surely he would've taken less.

I hope he goes on to do well elsewhere, not as well as us obviously but I don't think many city fans would begrudge him getting the right team and right position where he has has no excuses to show what he can do.

He isn't a left winger that has to hug the touch line. He's done a job there but that's it. It's easy to blame Pep for sticking him out there 99% of the time but maybe Jack hasn't impressed him enough to give him regular chances in other positions.

If he wants to kick start his career, I don't just think he needs a new club, he needs a manager who trusts him to start in a more favourable position.

It clearly seems time to leave. People will continue to argue over his fee and what he's delivered but it's old news. Just for how he is with young fans alone and winning a treble, nobody should give him a poor reception or a disrespectful departure.

Good player, just hasn't been able to be consistent or really force his way into the team as one of the main men. That's really the top and bottom of it.

Sterling did that running to the back post for the tap in thing exceptionally well. But made so many mistakes that he often seemed a burden. Perhaps mistakenly on reflection.

Grealish seems to get way more love than he deserves on here. Let's let him leave and move on. He's not for us. Epitomizes the slow-the-game-down-and-pass-backwards malaise we find ourselves in.
