We need homegrown players. Livramento is not worth 70 to 80 million pounds he’s 50 to 60 at best but because of the homegrown rule there’s 20 million premium. Same with Gibbs white 50 to 60 at best but because he’s homegrown forest will want 80.

Problem is you are going to have to pay a premium for a homegrown player look at palace rejecting 60 million for Guehi with 1 year left on his contract.

Need to sort the homegrown issue. I’d say Wharton but Palace want 70 for him which is being briefed from their side.

Makes sense now why we want Gibbs white.

I can potentially seeing us go back in for MGW next summer once he has a year left on his deal. May end up getting him cheaper especially if he's made it clear he has no intention of signing a deal. We will probably lose some midfielders too if we don't lose all of Kovacic, Bernardo and Gundagon this summer.

We can still do mgw and liveremento as we have the funds definitely a couple of homegrown needed.

I think we are more arsed about the 'English' tax than the club. We have the dosh and more, to do it in the second window, imho. of course.

Seen him linked with Inter, Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle this week (and rejected Spurs). His agent is busy.

But now we need a RB not a midfielder . We might add another mid later if we have the room but it isn't the priority now.

I guess so, its not going away and the club clearly don't mind his name out there. Newcastle haven't really shut it down either weirdly.

HG options are pretty sparse for what we need/seem to want.

Unless we dive into the championship? Get the homegrown player before the big price tag? It’s a risk but it could work.

can’t tell me there isn’t a championship player with huge potential or being too good for the championship that English top teams barely go for them.
