He's a Lyon fan so doubt he'd entertain PSG. Reason he's so cheap is an apparent gentlemans agreement (How true I'm not sure) we've also kept many top players out of the crutches of the big clubs so absolutely no worries about Madrid imo :-)

Agreed. But I don't think he'll be the dynamic player we thought he'd be. He'll still be dynamic, just not in the context of what we (or I, anyway) thought. He excels in passing, shooting and movement now but when he first burst on the scene, I thought he'd be dribbling all over the gaff and showing off bits of skill to unlock defences.

the gentlemans agreement which is what we offered, lyon have reneged on that agreement so it will be around 33-35m, lyon are in dire straits financially

Again, I'm not making an assessment of his potential - he's fantastic and excels in many areas of his game...just not in certain areas that I thought he would originally.

Last season was an anomaly, he'll be back and when he is, he'll offer something different to Cherki.

If he trusts players he won't. He never did with Silva, KDB , Sterling,Mahrez Aguero.Hasn't with Rodri,or Gundogan.He loves dribblers and footballers as long as they do it with intelligence. Only reason it's happened is age and injuries.
