If you think it's nonsense about his drinking you're very naive. Do you think he's supping tea in nightclubs and parties? He had a drink problem at Villa when he crashed his Range Rover when too pissed to walk properly, never mind drive. He's been caught by paparazze several times since staggering out of clubs in the early hours whilst he should have been at home in bed.

The club know full well he has a drink problem but they're not going broadcast it are they because they want to sell him to the highest bidder. It was reported he was the last to leave at De Bruyne's leaving party, no surprise there. Maybe why Pep left him out of the squad against Fulham.
"It was reported he was the last to leave kdb party, ? r eported by who. is you a private eye, or a dick.? !

How come Raheem never got so much love from City fans ?

Sterling with Pep: 194 league appearances, 85 goals, 40 assists
I think for the people confused this is the perfect example. Some have a hard on for stats and stats only. On paper Sterling was great for us (off paper as well) and his numbers tell that story. The frustration with Sterling that despite his numbers for us (which he has never come close to since) he is a largely frustrating footballer and I still stand by this, with limited actual football ability. If you asked most City fans they would probably prefer Sterling over Grealish and I count myself in that. What goes against Sterling is being shoehorned into a CL final after walking to the final without him (not his fault) and some of his mard arse comments about being on the bench and missing a kids birthday with us or whatever bollocks.

A lot of blues feel Grealish treatment has been unfair this season as we have watched countless players get picked after not delivering. I personally feel a lot of blues (they tend to be older ones) have had it in for Jack since signing and whatever he done wouldn't be enough. His contribution towards our treble was priceless, even if he has disappointed around that individually season. Maybe we are defensive because the knives were out for him before he ever kicked a ball for us, strangely booed by opposition fans who were screaming from the rooftops for him to play for England only that Summer. Sterling got a lot of love when he left and rightly so. We had Sterlings back whilst always singled out by the media and we have had to do the same with Jack.

That is where you fall hook line and sinker. He was last to leave KDBs leaving do, 30 minutes after our star striker in Haaland, why wasn't it reported that our striker who just shit himself and cost us the fa cup was out until 1am? days before our final game of the season, no the story is a player getting zero minutes leaving 30 minutes after our prized asset. If the club know full well he has a drink problem then leave him out. Don't have him on the bench for games, don't have him on the bench for a cup final and give a kid his debut (criminal from Pep) if you have ZERO intention of playing them. We know this is all off the field stuff so it is why it is highly frustrating that Pep has used him the way he has. He shouldn't be near the match day squad if there is an issue.

Those fucking misses against the rags in 2018 haunt me, we could've beat them at home to win the league - 2-0 up at half time and Sterling missed about 4 in the first half too!

Sterling did that running to the back post for the tap in thing exceptionally well. But made so many mistakes that he often seemed a burden. Perhaps mistakenly on reflection.

Grealish seems to get way more love than he deserves on here. Let's let him leave and move on. He's not for us. Epitomizes the slow-the-game-down-and-pass-backwards malaise we find ourselves in.
Raheem's movement was world class, together with his electric pace-that's what made him a top class footballer.

As much as I like Jack and his contribution to the team in the treble season, he's awful in the box-his habitual delayed shot hitting the defender's shins is a trademark unfortunately.

I doubt that this is true. Our journalists are following his every move & there is no footage of him leaving “parties” drunk on a regular basis. The only time they catch him is when he is out celebrating with the rest of the squad - & as he’s a normal lad he knows how to celebrate ! But where are the daily/weekly pics of him staggering out of places worse for wear. Believe me - he is followed mercilessly by people hoping to get a scoop - but where’s the evidence!!

Not to derail the thread talking about Sterling but there's loads. Open net against Lyon to equalise, open net at Burnley (thankfully we won) as you say them sitters against United. We all appreciate what he done here and that should never be downplayed but I have never seen a professional footballer miss or strike a ball as poorly as he did. His world class skill was his positioning, it is why he scored as many as he did but equally why there are so many howlers from him too.

If nothing else, it shows you how important game intelligence was. Sane was always the better finisher, but he scored nowhere near as many because he wasn't as intelligent with his runs.

Absolutely and whilst I was never Sterlings biggest fan, his movement was absolutely world class. KDB said he was the best to play with him because of the runs he made. If Sterlings footballing ability was the same level as his movement then he would have been one of the best players in the world

Really? I'd have thought most City fans loved Sterling and would rank him amongst the City legends. The guy was immense for us. 31 goals in a single season from the wing at one point. That's up there with Toure's 20 goals from midfield season, especially when you consider he didn't take penalties or set pieces.

Maybe but at least he gets in positions to miss those sitters.
Can you say the same with Jack.
That Villa comeback game our first goal from Raheem beating his man to a brilliant cross to Ilkay was as good as it gets wing play largely forgotten by our fans.
I think it was Raheems last season as well.So not anywhere near his best but one magical moment provided when it mattered.

Google is your friend. I'm not interested in carrying on from what I've said thanks. I'm too busy.
