There’s just not enough very high class technical English players. Spain, for example, has many more.
English players are known for strength, resilience, commitment. You need both types to have a top team. One thing Pep does that lifts City above the crowd is to insist on technique in our team. Our new recruits this summer have bags of technical ability.(And they are not English!)

I thought some of the passing was fucking shocking. A kid just starting at City would get grief in the match threads if they were so poor.

England might as well send the Prestwich Heys team to matches like this, they would be no worse.
 
Been at the game just drinking cold Estella on the fast train back to Madrid.
Dossed at Dublin airport last night (16 passengers on the Man- Dublin 23-15 flight last night wow a new record for me) till my 6-30am flight to Barca, nowhere to stay tonight as mad hotel prices in Barcelona events happening shoving prices up. See what’s happening in Madrid but there’s always the airport and battered them in comfy seats at daft O’clock recently the amount of times we’ve played em.
Obviously lack of current City players in this squad Walker only. The England faithful were still blasting out Phil Foden’s on fire even pre match.
We won 1-0 and no one called our team or me a cheating bastard not even in jest, I am disappointed no 115 or anything the games gone ha ha, might have to open another Estrella.

Levels , mate, levels. Pep demands them where others don't. It's fucking ridiculous for any England side not to be able to breakdown a team like Andorra.
Ghastly football again from yet another England manager. The Henderson selection says everything about his future intentions. The FA has gone like for like with this fucker.
