You better tell Pep and Hugo before they make a mistake then mate.
Despite quoting my post twice I think you missed the part when I wrote "I like the signing and think the fee has the potential to be very great value" and "overall a very exiting signing with the potential to be a great LB for us."

I'm just saying that in my opinion it's hard to argue a defender is a proven top end player when he comes from being a part of the worst non relegated defense in the league.
With that said, Ait-Nouri has every chance to prove himself to be a top end player here with us and I have high hopes that he will!

We actually have a proper left back... has hell frozen over?
Was just thinking when was the last time we signed a proper out and out LB and how few we have signed over the years.

Mendy? (been out of the squad a long time now.
Kolarov? Was he a LB or just a left footed utility player?
Clichy. Going back some time there.
Stuart Pearce.
Terry Phelan.

Been looking at a few Wolves forums and Wolves vlogs, and their fans all pretty much saying the same two things ..... 1) that Wolves have sold him far too cheaply ...... and 2) that whilst he's very good going forward, he's NOT not great defensively , and gets caught out of position all too often ... so there you have it, thats coming from fans who watched him every week ..... maybe we need to play this guy at 'wing half' to get the best out of him, and get a left back behind him who isn't gonna stray!!

I think 'Vester's' indicated a similar thing in an earlier post of his ....

one source has Reijnders wearing 21 and the other has Ait Nouri wearing it. Be interesting to see who’s right
I’d trust the guy who says Ait-Nouri. He seemingly has very good sources, and pretty much everything he has said this window has been confirmed by high-tier journos.

Nathan Ake came from Bournmouth & every time I saw him we beat them by 6.

I totally get what you mean though.

Robinson went to Liverpool from relegated Hull and for several years was the best left back in the league.

And I would argue that he proved himself to be a top end player at Liverpool and that he was not considered as one before joining them. Hopefully Ait-Nouri will do the same here!

They will have watched him a few times, and considered him to have the 'determination and potential' to become a first team player at Anfield .... and I think he only cost Liverpool about 8m!
