Fair enough. I think he’s a definite weak link now, though. He doesn’t win headers, positionally he’s all over the place and his passing is atrocious.
He’ll likely do well when we play teams who will have a go at us, as he’s always been a great ‘backs to the wall defender’.

Trouble is, we rarely play against teams having a go so, whenever City have the ball, he’s the one player the opposition don’t close down because he presents no threat, whatsoever.
Finally, as he lacks any real pace, given the way were often countered, he is not much use there either.

All that notwithstanding, if Rodri is back to his best and if Nico can slot into a DM role, he’ll probably do well but, if not, he’s far from guaranteed his place, I’d have thought.

Totally agree with the middle 3 paragraphs. Think the first is exaggerated and once he's playing behind a more settled side he'll be excellent again.

Bernardo? HE's the best tackler in the league imo. Its an art form for him, I think it is why Pep believes in him and gives him the place in the team.
