Hot take but I don’t think the dippers will be any better next season
Diaz wants out
Trent has left
Alison is off of his year or next
Konate winding contract down
Van dijk and salah could drop off (more hope)

Mamardashvili is unlikely to be at Alison’s level if he ever plays
Frimpong replaces Trent - I don’t think he is as good
Kerkez replaces Robertson - good player maybe improves left a bit
Wirtz is class - but Diaz will leave and salah is the main man and may not work

Not saying they won’t challenge for the league, just don’t think it is as easy as they do

Van Dijk and Salah have peaked. They have made the same mistake we did in hanging on to older players. Wirtz is superb but not enough to carry the team. It depends what other signings they make and whether we get our act together.

With respect salah looks fitter than any younger player in the league and I would imagine he will go again next season but dick van dyke could blow up . The signings they are making are gonna keep them in the frame and they have learned from their mistakes .

Signing a player doesn’t automatically mean they are as good as the player they replace Thankfully our full backs already are better because we have none!
