I reckon Bobb will go on loan, because there’s links away on loan unlike with Reis and Echeverri.

He needs football after an injury like that.

ive said that before with doku tho and i do think its 50/50 with him last year he got in the right areas and there was nobody for him in the box to pass to and the attack just broke down

looking at the past seasons the team that scores the most amount of goals USUALLY wins not always but he crunched the numbers and saw that 93 goals is usually the amount of goals needed to win a league.

That's interesting. Think I'd probably have them about 10 goals back from there, 80-85 which is why I think we probably need 1 more attacking player.

Probably a couple of overestimations on there I wouldnt rely on, wouldnt expect Haaland to score 28 for example (although hes more than capable). It's probably the 6 combined goals of Savinho/Doku being the issue as 1 will start most weeks. So 6 goals in let's say 30-33 games isn't enough.

Yeah you might be right, let’s hope so because if it’s another season of the same then we’ll have waisted 3 years on him. Big big season for him coming up. Hope he delivers

im kind of hoping the runs of marmoush and reijnders into the box will give him something to and that haaland will offer more movement

I think that's a really bad idea. He's already 19.5. Needs regular game time. You can do this sort of stuff with players you buy for 5m, 10m. Not with a player you've splurged 40m on.

He's not getting regular game time here, unless he plays EDS games as well, price is irrelevant to how you develop him

Erm not strictly true that though is it??
I get the general sentiment, but it'll be a new season so if push came to shove we just wouldn't register who we couldn't shift - but won't get down to that point.

Well, he would be getting regular game time if we decide to use him as 4th CB, which is not insane. But that WOULD mean getting rid of stones, ake and akanji. Personally i'd get rid of stones and akanji, keep ake and reis.

Price is of course relevant to how you develop him. Don't buy a 40m defender about to turn 20 if you don't have a path to the first team.

We talk about not being able to afford wirtz, well maybe we could have if we didn't spend 60m on nico (intended to be a backup), khusanov (inteded to be a backup) and reis (no clear path to even being 4th choice, apparently). If you spend money on these players they should get game time.

he's still have 4 CBs in front of him, even losing 3. By regular game time I mean consistent starts, not cup games by the way. (he probably will get that, which he doesn't need the CL registration for).

I expect the training work and cup games for him. Interesting to see how it goes, looks a potential star

Agree on letting a few of the CBs go though. Josko/Ake, Dias/Khus with Reis stepping into cover any of em.

It was £30 million but I take your point. There aren’t many players signed for that amount and then immediately loaned out.

I think I would keep Ake too. This squad planning lark is a nightmare.

No other attacking player means 70-80 goals from the rest of the squad. I'm saying they'll do 50-60.

My guesses:
Haaland 35
Marmoush 20
Foden 10
Cherki 10

Doku 7
Savinho 7
Rodri 7
Reijnders 7
Bobb 5
Gonzalez 5
The rest would then need 37 goals.
Bernardo, Dias, Gvardiol, Ait Nouri, Stones, Ake, Akanji, right back.

Again they're just guesses, Reijnders did miles better this season but Savinho was way under and 7 would be Doku's best season. I think Bobb has the potential but it was a big injury, who knows how he will come back.

I don't think it's enough goals.

Was close between Ake and Akanji but a fit Ake is miles above Akanji.

Kova has a half million a week offer.
Ortega wants to be #1 somewhere.

As easy as the decision can be without moving Pep's favorites Gundo and Bernardo on who are both on higher salaries.
