Watched him today against the Swedish B or C team. He did not cover himself in glory on the defensive end but to be fair the rest of the defence and the keeper were worse. They conceded a hattrick to Kenzema. No not t(e former Real striker but the former Watford winger.

In the 2nd half Algeria looked better and you could see his involvement in the atracking build up was crisp.

So probably what we expected great going forward and a bit iffy defensively

While our rivals Liverpool, Arsenal, Madrid, PSG, Barcelona have Viniscus Junior, Doue,, Mbappe, Sako, Dias, Rodrygo, etc .
Just bought Rayan and you think he will play solely as a 10.

Not Mark Ogden, by any chance ?

Why would what our rivals do dictate how we want to play?

Our wingers are not good enough in Savinho and Doku, they don't supply Haaland and that will be a key thing this summer in how do we play that gets the best out of him. Many occasions last year Pep rotated between our fast no end product wingers with our different type of wingers (players who aren't wingers really) and I believe he is undecided in our approach. How scared he is over transitions I don't believe we will be playing with attacking full backs with out and out wingers no. If Cherki is being shifted wide it might be different, we have a lot of options and the way Pep innovates I believe he might have something up his sleeve.
