I'm sure we'd all take a job with someone we don't like for a massive wedge, that would secure us financially for 18 months. Do the the bare minimum because their bosses are stupid fuckers concerned more about marketing their brand over any tangible success.

To be honest he will do better in a major tournament providing England give him a real chance.

He's still working out a system. However I think it's clear the cliques are back.

MGW interview was quite telling when he said Tommy was trying to encourage the squad to stay in touch and build up relationships during the summer.

I can't see Bellingham wanting to do that as he will looking for his own TV as deals for the WC.
 
I was only able to watch some of the match tonight.
Thought it was fairly poor from an England perspective.

From the few bits that I saw, it didn’t look as though Saka took on and beat the defenders at all. Can anyone who watched the full match tell me otherwise?

The cliques were there from Southgates's time. I don't think Tuchel can really change that.

As an outsider I have to agree, and that comes from overrating the Premier League. Yeah, It is the most entertaining to watch, and it might very well be the best in the World, but it is absolutely not on a tier of its own.

Thinking the EPL is head and shoulders above any other league in the World is what leads to asinine comments like "can Messi do it on a rainy afternoon at Stoke?" or "Haaland won't make it here. The Premier isn't the Bundesliga", which then leads to thinking any bloke that does semi good on any given PL season is World Class.

Wasn't a fan of his but he seems to have have kept that in check to some extent until Bellingham appeared.

Talkshite trying to sell a 'hard hitting' live interview with Tuchel tomorrow. Let's see how much the FA allow Durham to say to him.

I’m that petty that I’d rather watch England get battered than that prick get any credit.

The last player I hated that much even in an england shirt was probably Beckham.

(But it’s probably that our players think they’re better than everyone else and just think they need to turn up and win)
