That explains a lot . Nauseating. I had mistakenly listened thinking it would be an unbiased analysis of the implications of the Yankification of football . Apparently Chelsea and us were / are dismissed as "rich mens toys" while American owners are all invested in the romance and the love of the authenticity.

& obviously no criticism for the future World Cup as the president sends troops on the street.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but i suggest you avoid the latest ESPN podcast - apparently our signings are underwhelming (Mark Ogden), and no other teams were after them. Summer ruined.

"How will Reijnders get in the side?"

ESPN used to be fair. Think they realised that being anti-city gets more views=£ shame. Really used to watch it but stopped doing so last six months.

Comes to show that the pundits on this panel don't have a clue what they are going on about.

They are inept and outdated (all of the pundits)

Don was saying the most stupid things and I found it very hard to watch or listen to any of his "words of wisdom"

The state of them as a collective is at an all time low
2 dippers , a thick rag and a nomark from Venezuela, can't expect any objectivity!
Liverpool s squad looks good,Arsenal yet to move, ours looks really good and we haven't finished yet.
As we know from last year injuries could determine and the Dippers where very very lucky.
Crucially we've got Rodders back ,hopefully over his setback.

They could have had so many great players ... must be something wrong there, then. All done to placate their gullible fan base. Look what you could have won! Could've, would've - should've.

I watched a few thing recently with united fans spouting. I’ve noticed a dramatic change the actually are admitting they are jealous of us.

I watched a few I watched Flex and Alice I could believe how sort of humbled they are.

I’ve seen both on YouTube. Has anybody else noticed a difference in the way they talk about our great club
That's because blame is a funny old thing, it begins to wear thin eventually.

You come to realise that while you're pointing that finger of blame at someone else you've got three fingers pointing right back at you.

Despite the media's best efforts to lay the blame at City's door for the rags demise those chickens have come home to roost.

There is no getting away from it anymore, MCFC is far superior to the rags in every measurable way both on and off the pitch (which has got absolutely nothing to do with money) and it's driving them crazy.

For years the rags would brag that they were the kings of the castle while others were the dirty rascals.

The penny has finally dropped and they've become very sheepish. You might think they will return to type at some point if things improve for them. However, I genuinely believe that the damage done at that club is irreparable.

These once proud (braggart) set of fans have become like zombies living in limbo moping around pining for those golden days to return.

The reason they appear to be magnanimous is because they're petrified of any retaliation for the shit they doled out for all those years.

Jim Shyte;

"After Pep's comments about Gaza. Should sporting figures weigh in on politics?"

I hate this logic.

Either everybody or nobody should weigh in. If fucking Derek, 51 from Carlisle can bitch about how woke everything is, should we say that plumbers shouldn't weigh in on politics?

They're allowed to have an opinion. We're allowed to agree or disagree with it.

Absolutely. Pep can have his point of view and I should also be able to say he's talking shite and I don't agree. I'm fine with it but unfortunately there is a growing mob who can't abide anyone with a different opinion to their own. You used to be ebale to disagree with someone, but it appears now that if you disagree you're a total **** or you get labelled with one of the 'isms'. Sad times indeed.

I've turned 'notifications' off now as it's not worth the bother replying to people who are absolutely intolerant.

Anyway, I believe we may have signed another player and England lost.......the world is still good.

It’s about getting clicks, they must of realised that as United go from shit to shittier to shittiest United fans are drifting away and other fans who hate United are watching more and clicking.

Reminds me of how Carragher set that narrative recently of how nobody should tell Liverpool fans how they should feel about Trent. As far as I am aware nobody ever done that to begin with, people just had their own opinions on if he should be booed or not. That, because it was a subject close to home wasn't allowed according to spitty. This is a man who has built a career on having opinions on every single aspect of football, teams, players etc. Tosser
