S2 of The Wire (docks) is soo good the second time around of viewing. The Wire was very good. But for it to be a classic, it needs to be watched again.

The plot and some of the lines are so corny and ridiculous, with some poor acting to boot.Overhyped crap
Have watched The Wire three times now. The last season is the least amazing, but it's STILL very good. The first four are seriously great TV.The Wire was very good. But for it to be a classic, it needs to be watched again. I never had that urge with it...unlike The Sopranos, Band of Brothers, Rome etc.
Well a zombie is a person who’s died and has come back to life as the ‘undead’
I don’t want to give too much away but the people in The Last of Us, that may seem a bit weird have never died.
Okay, we seem similar that our interest is well written TV shows, in the main.
'The Last of Us' is HBO in the States and Sky in the UK.
I would say the tier just below 'Andor' for writing would be 'Mindhunter' which was on Netflix (and if you can find it anywhere now, anyway) and 'Blackbird' on Apple+, (which is, shockingly, not getting a second series).
Well worth checking out if you haven't seen them.
I watched the 1st series and absolutely loved it, but for some reason, i don't know why, never carried onOutrageously I have never done it, I cannot even tell you why and my family who got me on the sopranos all them years ago always said the wire as well. I will get it watched
Yeah. It was my least favourite of the 5 seasons on the first watch. Loved it second time round.S2 of The Wire (docks) is soo good the second time around of viewing.
And yet Brosnan is Irish !Mobland at present, Mirren and Brosnan are terrible at accents.
I watched the Wire second time round last yearS2 of The Wire (docks) is soo good the second time around of viewing.
Well… Zombie Schmombie.
They're clearly not human any more. And they're only “living” in an incredibly limited sense. To all intents and purposes, they're zombies. If it walks like a zombie, and it quacks like a zombie, then…
All I keep thinking honestly is, well, at least the make-up department had a really good time. They really had a party on this one.
It has to be said that, as mutants, or zombies, or whatever they are, go, they are peculiarly repulsive. Kudos for that.
So my view on it so far is very Vicky Pollard, I'm afraid — yeah but no but yeah but no but yeah but no…
I'll persist to the end of the first season, because I paid for it. Unless it becomes a lot cleverer and it's harder to anticipate what's going to happen next, I doubt I'll get into the second season.
KINahan’s on BBC IPlayer. Great documentary series about how they rose to be one of the major players in European Organised crime.Any recommendations? Just finished Mobland, defo overhyped but was ok. I find myself rewatching Sopranos etc when I am stuck so hoping for something new

I mean, I did say ‘technically’ they weren’t zombies.

And have just rewatched The Americans. Incredible TV. Even better second time around.
There's been a lot of controversy of his portrayal in season 2 from his family and historians saying it's completely wrong.Series 2 of Rogue heroes, the portrayal of Paddy is quickly winding me up

His acting was way over the top and completely spoiled it for meI sacked it off following the completely made-up scene when he trashed the Hotel Lounge. Pity because I’d enjoyed the first series.
It’s either fact, with a little added drama, or 100% fiction. Tarnishing actual professional heroes is very odd.
FWIW ..... I've had Nord for about 4 yrs now, for the same reason. Have it 'on' 100% of the time, down here in Jamaica, and never had any problems with it, for either BBC or ITV. Just sayin' .....Cheers mate, I was about to sign up with Nord to get BBC iPlayer, no point now.
Even with it being made up, it’s just really annoying to watchThere's been a lot of controversy of his portrayal in season 2 from his family and historians saying it's completely wrong.
